Image of the Tripadvisor rating Sheraton should put restrictions on babies/toddlers in hot tub.

Biggest complaint is that there were families with toddlers there and they used the hot tub as a child’s swimming pool - droopy diapers and all. I mentioned this to a Sheraton representative and she told me there was nothing I could do. She then suggested I try the hot tub across the street that is away from the ocean. I did not check out the… Read more

Our family of four, including two teen boys, stayed at the Sheraton Kauai Resort for five nights, from August 19 to August 24, and had a very positive experience. We were a little hesitant about booking based on recent reviews, but we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. The key points we noted were: Exceptional Staff: We had a great experience with the front desk staff, specifically Josh, who was friendly and informative during check-in. We also noted the helpfulness of Erik and Betty. Prime Location: We loved the hotel's location, highlighting that it's right on the beach with a great view from the room. Amenities: We found the daily activities to be a bonus and appreciated the "warm and friendly feel" of the resort, even with a smaller pool compared to the Hyatt. We also spent 2 days at the Hyatt, which had a more cruise ship feel. It does have an amazing pool. Room and Elite Benefits: We were able to secure a spacious suite using a Marriott SNA upgrade and, as a Titanium Elite member, were offered a selection of breakfast items with the option to upgrade to a full meal for $13. This was our 2nd visit!! The staff are there to please and always kind and helpful. Beautiful and clean grounds with a pool and beach access. Rooms clean and comfortable. Rum Fire was AMAZING!! The food was excellent and staff very friendly. We will never stay anywhere else on the island. Great job to all!!

Currently in room 2202 and can hear very loud laundry machines that disrupt sleep. Facilities are friendly, but a far cry from luxurious. The pool area is so cramped, lacking both elegance and charm. The resort’s amenities are on par with a local community center, but set in a beautiful scenery.

2 Bedroom Villa not recommended. The bedrooms are so small you can’t even open a suitcase in the bedroom. Very poorly designed. The second bedroom is worse with a tiny bathroom. Living space is ok. Very claustrophobic feeling. We did have a top floor with vaulted ceiling. I can’t imagine how crowded the bottom floors feel. I have stayed in their… Read more

Very claustrophobic feeling. We did have a top floor with vaulted ceiling. I can’t imagine how crowded the bottom floors feel. I have stayed in their regular ocean side rooms many times over the years and they are wonderful. Highly recommend. If you need two rooms go down the road to the Marriott. They offer very nice spacious two room villas. Location and service is always great here, but if you need two bedrooms go to another resort. Read less
