When we complained about it as we didn’t know anything about it the guy behind the desk told us nothing we could do it was going on the credit card.....great customer service!!!! On the plus side the shuttle drivers we came across where very pleasant and helpful. It’s out of the way to get to the tourist area, you have to get a bus. Nothing here but expensive and not very good restaurants.

A very tired and overpriced villa in a remote corner of Maui. The villa was tired and dusty and the AC barely worked. The resort is well landscaped but isolated and a long way to get anywhere on the island.
There were stunning views from the patio, which made up for a lot.
Pools ok but beaches not very accessible.

We couldn’t sit at the pool or beach for any of our stay, which was so disappointing (especially for what we paid)! Had to drive to other beaches farther south.
I wish I had researched how different the climate can be just a few miles apart.

It clearly hadn't been updated for at least 30 years. The kitchen was terribly equipped. Glassware cooking pots etc could have been updated from a dollar store and been better. There is absolutely no service available from the resort itself. The office had very limited hours. The fridge and freezer were malfunctioning and failing intermittently. An email sent to their service department received no response at all. For $700 canadian per night we could have stayed in a regular beachside hotel with much better service. There is no value for the addon resort fee and service and cleaning charges. They actually wanted us to take out all our own garbage and recycling. What is the cleaning fee for?
Obviously no Improvements or updates have been put in this unit in decades and they were charging outrageous sums of money and giving no support whatsoever.
