Being my first experience with the VIRGIN brand, I was certainly expecting something more fashionable, more flamboyant, more unique; specially when it comes to Las Vegas!!! Unfortunately, and probably because of such heightened expectations, the contrast was stark and just found a dispirited, deflated, average resort, and for Vegas standards, maybe even underperforming: Worn out, stingy carpets; a lifeless casino; an uninviting dining/drinking scene –not even the Nobu made us hesitate about going to the strip for dinner every single night; no Starbucks, which I’m not fan of, but a resort this size in Las Vegas with no Starbucks is a ”something”; unappealing shows and entertainment; and to top it all, near zero gold/diamond tier Hilton Honors recognition... Service is courteous and friendly at the front desk and across the property, but fun fact, I found maintenance, housekeeping, and gardening staffers more knowledgeable and willing to assist than higher-rank staffers; these guys took me through the most wheelchair friendly route, knew whether the pool or the shop or whatever would be open or about to close, and always pointed me in the right direction to wherever I was headed… something no suited staff did or knew. Moving on to the rooms, on the one hand, although they do not feel 21st century Vegas, they are spacious, comfortable, and well lit; the whitish palette helps in this regard and it is highly appreciated that Hilton’s lousy beige palette did not permeate to this property. On the other hand, it is discouraging that Virgin Hotel Las Vegas is one of those properties that believe mobility accessible rooms deserve the most unappealing views they have to offer (still at $250 USD/night) whilst being the farthest from the elevator. By the way, always go for a strip view when staying in this property or you’ll wind up with some of the worst Vegas views a resort this magnitude has to offer. All in all, rooms are decent but lack some standard perks widely available in other brands across the strip, for starters, no coffee machine, no remote-controlled shades nor room service beyond breakfast, and a far-from-lavish bathroom. A couple more quick highlights for wrapping up… Virgin Las Vegas offers free parking and valet, with a courteous, friendly, and efficient service. Mind the location. If your plans revolve around the strip, take commute times and costs into account… do not underestimate the heat and the distances if trying to walk… also regarding location, hardly anything to do or where to eat nearby –from a touristy point of view. I stayed at Virgin Las Vegas because it was the only Hilton property available during my stay, but I’m not quite sure I’d stay here –or recommend staying here, should I have not been a Hilton Honors member. Price per night is not what you would call cheap and you definitely need to take transportation costs into consideration. Putting all numbers together, I could have stayed at the strip with no need for taxis/Uber nor renting a car, and would have broken even. Read less

After calling the hotel we were told that we were being charged for a smoking charge twice in our room. My husband and I don't smoke cigarettes, Marijuana or vape so we were confused by the accusation. After bringing this to the managers attention we were told there system is 99% accurate they refused to remove the charge. Finding it a little hard to believe we are the 1%!!! Won't be staying here on future trips to Vegas! Read less

This hotel was not worth it. I spent 2 nights, and regretted staying there. The location is near the airport, but not downtown, so if you want to be near downtown, do not stay there. The room itself doesn't have a refrigerator, a microwave, or a hair dryer, which are necessary in a hot city like Vegas. I bought a room with a view of the strip, but… Read more

I bought a room with a view of the strip, but didn't get it; the view was to the pool and the hotel only. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, because it mostly focuses on its casino, not the hotel. Read less

Came here for business and it started off rough. We got a room in the Canyon tower and the bed seem to be original from the Hard Rock days! Really, really beat up. I couldn't sleep at all. Even the Dunkin Donuts on site charge almost $10 for a breakfast sandwich. The Virgin is a trendy and beautiful property but bring two credit cards. You may need them both! Read less

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2025, as it was close to some of the planned activities we had for the weekend and relatively inexpensive. It was formerly the Hard Rock, and there are still a handful of reminders of its former identity, but mostly the hotel feels new and updated. Parking was free (either self or valet) and plentiful in their two parking garages. My one complaint was around check in, which took an awfully long time despite only a handful of folks in line, as there were only two staffers checking us in. I stood alone in the HH Gold/Diamond line for about 15 minutes before getting checked in, which thankfully was fairly quick. Room was nice and felt new. Our view was pretty good as we had a top floor room facing the Strip. Pool noise was still very noticeable though, even on the 11th floor. But as we were out and about during much of the day/night, it was not ever an issue. We didn't gamble much in the casino - it was pretty average in most ways, and we didn't eat in any of the restaurants due to our schedule. What we realized we loved was not having to deal with the congestion of the Strip. We had an incredibly easy time driving around to other hotels, restaurants, etc., to meet up with friends. And because parking was a breeze, we often found ourselves just popping back to the room for a short break before going off to our next event. You can check out on the tv in your room, so thankfully didn't have to revisit the registration line. Overall, definitely would recommend. Read less
