This hotel is a disappointment, from start to finish. It’s hard to believe that it’s near to many other nice hotels and yet, has nothing to offer. The prices of food and other amenities are more expensive than nearby beautiful hotels, such as The Venetian, Paris, etc. For instance, we had a beautiful sit-down dinner at Mon Ami Gabi, at The Paris, for little more than we paid for a horrible lunch inside Harrah’s, in the food court! And the food court there is filthy, like eating in a Greyhound bus station. The price of drinks, at any of the bars we visited, were higher than other nicer casinos we visited. The casino has a very tired feeling. It doesn’t smell very good and the ceilings seem low. It just seems outdated and like stepping back into the 70’s. The rooms are marginal, at best. Very dated, with a few attempted updates. The bathroom door was a sliding “barn door”, with clear glass, giving no privacy. The shower is open concept, with the partial glass door not covering the splashing water from the shower, so you end up having a wet mess on the floor. The towels are thin and threadbare. The staff was nice about bringing extras. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Linens were ok. We will never stay here again! My husband made the comment that it’s the “Motel 6 of the Strip”; that about sums it up. There are too many other competitively-priced options, that are infinitely nicer than Harrah’s. Go somewhere else! Read less

Sure — here’s a biting, sarcastic TripAdvisor review based on your experience. It threads in all the key points, keeps the tone dripping with snark, and should get your message across loud and clear. ⸻ A Not-So-Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the Forum (a.k.a. Harrah’s Las Vegas) Ah, Harrah’s Las Vegas — where dreams go to die under a fluorescent light and the scent of industrial-grade disinfectant. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to sleep inside a bottle of Lysol and regret every life decision that led you there, you’re in for a treat. Let me set the scene: I was in town for business at Caesars Forum (conveniently connected to Harrah’s — lucky me), and figured staying nearby would be smart. Oh, past me. Sweet, naive past me. After requesting maintenance to check the HVAC unit — which, by the way, was breathing out the foulest combination of mildew and death I’ve encountered outside a horror movie — I made the very logical assumption that housekeeping might, just maybe, clean the room once I fled it in respiratory distress at 5 AM. I even let the front desk know it was available to be serviced. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t. It was not cleaned. At all. Not even a knock-and-run. Just… ignored. Apparently, in Harrah’s housekeeping playbook, “Available to Clean” means “This guest has clearly given up hope and would prefer to marinate in yesterday’s air.” Let’s talk about the room itself — imagine an outdated Dave & Buster’s had a lovechild with a liquor-soaked Chuck E. Cheese, and you’re getting warm. The décor screamed “1997 was a great year,” and the smell was a festive blend of Eau de Disinfectant and “Aunt Tilly’s Evening Musk.” And don’t get me started on the service — or more accurately, the art of the blank stare. When I gently pointed out that my room had been skipped, I was met with all the urgency of someone being asked to solve world peace on their lunch break. No apology, no offer to fix it. Just a shrug that whispered, “You think this is bad? Wait ‘til you try the elevators.” So if you’re looking for that perfect cocktail of poor service, filthy air, and the ambiance of a haunted casino birthday party, Harrah’s is ready and waiting. For everyone else? Might I recommend literally anywhere else. I’ll be booking my next stay at a park bench behind Caesars, where at least I can breathe and no one pretends it’s acceptable. Read less

Very dissappointed. I did a solo trip knowing you needed a key card on the elevator, not in this case anyone can get up to the rooms. The bartenders in the main bar weren’t very friendly. The biggest thing, if you want to sit by the pool you have to rent a bed or a cabana, or sit on the edge.

Room was clean and satisfactory, but snack trap display and restricted pool access is annoying. Gym was nice and clean and suited my needs adequately. All rooms need a fridge instead of the stupid snack trap display. The poker machines are insufficient and some are innoperative.
