However you spend your day, the heated outdoor pool will be a welcoming sight when you return, to kick back and relax and grab a drink from the bar. Dinner is an easy choice with fresh local ingredients served at nFuse before retiring to the bar where they have 24 taps of local microbrews.

“Middling casino style hotel”

A very large and busy convention casino style hotel. Nothing special to comment on decor and style-wise. Got a sort of 80’s vibe on the exterior. On the upside: higher room (15 floor main bldg) was mostly quiet except for some inconsiderate door slamming late at night by probably drunk guests and had a nice balcony (I think all rooms have one) which is a nice touch for watching Disney fireworks at night. Downside: I did not appreciate the ear piercing fire alarm going off in the morning simply because I took a hot shower. Engineering need to move the alarms away from the bathroom, which is, by the way, tiny. Staff are very nice. They work hard, so I did not sense a relaxed atmosphere but more one of “get the folks checked in and moving along.” One more gripe: Parking garage is a 1/2 mile walk up and down elevators from the hotel through the convention side of the hotel. Fine if you are single with an overnight bag, but not so great with tired kids and piles of luggage and strollers. With a hotel of this size, there is no other way to get to parking, just be aware you will have a walk from parking to reception to room and back and forth if you are utilizing you car while staying.

Marriott Anaheim - We booked our hotel as it had good reviews and marketing online. Let’s just say we had different experience. Checked in with a male employee and had my itinerary number and ID ready. He pulled up our reservation, and I asked if he needed it. He said no. We are clearly in matching outfits and this is our honeymoon vacation. He asked if this was a 2 queen bed or king bed. Obviously you know it’s a king bed. He said hmm after we confirmed king bed. Felt so offended. We booked this as a lgbt couple. Already uncomfortable. The marketing online does not mention that the hotel also houses a convention. A convention was being held and the people are screaming up and down the halls and slamming doors the whole weekend and a party happened across the hall multiple nights in a row. Also, the room… hair on the doors, shower has a busted wall, missing parts/pipe showing, and gross shower door. The shower head doesn’t work just the hand tool. So had to only use that. The shower also leaks onto the floor forcing you to use extra towels to prevent you from slipping. There is also no exhaust fan so it’s get all steamy really bad. While sleeping, if you lay your head down flat on the pillow you can hear the humming in a machine behind our wall… The AC is dripping water, the curtains don’t close all the way if you need to block out the sun completely, toilet lid doesn’t close by itself just hold up at a 45 degree angle, there are brown marks all up on the walls and stain on furniture. The ceiling also has a giant crack in the paint. It’s a 30 min walk to Disney fyi. It’s not as close as we thought that’s our fault. Also, no microwave in room. Fridge doesn’t get cold. Bed is comfortable and hotel is fancy in the lobby. The elevator is also an issue. There are 6 elevators, but you have to play musical chairs just to get one to get you to the floor you need. The F elevator specifically will re-open itself multiple times before closing to go up or down. We will not be staying here again.

“What a Marriott should be”

I used this hotel for the West Coast Card show that was held in August 2025. I am titanium lifetime so I expect a good experience when I stay at a Marriott. I must say that many Marriott hotels are not in great shape these days, but this is a really nice hotel. They upgraded me to a suite and let me stay until 2 pm, even though it was a Friday which is busy with how close they are to Disneyland. The hotel is a short walk to the convention center. They have a nice concierge's lounge that has good hours and a great hot breakfast. I plan to be back next year.
