Extremely disappointing experience. The room was very dirty and clearly had not been cleaned as well as it should have been. I found what appeared to be rat or mouse droppings in the room, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel.
I called the front desk to report the issue and to request fresh towels, only to be told that they were “busy” and that my room would not be serviced. The way the situation was handled was just as disappointing as the condition of the room. The staff member I spoke with was incredibly rude and hostile when I was simply trying to address a basic cleanliness issue.
For the record, the room is under my spouse’s name. I am writing this review because I do not wish to be contacted by the hotel. After the way your staff treated me, I have absolutely no interest in receiving a scripted apology or fake niceness after the fact. I expected a clean room and basic courtesy from the staff, and unfortunately, I received neither.
I would strongly recommend management take a serious look at both the cleanliness of these rooms and the way guests are being treated when they bring legitimate concerns to the front desk.

This was my second stay at AC Westport. For the price, the location is great. The hotel is a mid+ hotel, with fairly good aesthetics and nice rooms. Most AC Hotels are the same, so if you stayed at one in any city you will find the vibes familiar.
My only complaint was that the walls are very thin. Next door to me I had a group of people blasting music and talking at full volume. I could hear everything they said and I could hear the lyrics to the hip hop songs they played. Luckily they went out a lot to party. But then works me up at 2 am when they got back. I had to call the front desk many times to help me. They did ask the noisy party to quiet down, which was nice.
I think on weekends the area is very party like down the street. Cops patrolled the hotel parking lot. It felt a little sketchy. So if you stay here odds are good you’ll have loud neighbors like me.
