I wasn't in Kansas City for the World Cup, but nonetheless it was hard to avoid: welcoming signage, souvenir sellers, and flags were everywhere. Not to mention the crowds heading for the FIFA Fan Fest. It all added to the high-energy feel of my visit, during which I rode the Main Street streetcar (a 4/10 mile walk from the hotel through the funky Westport neighborhood), explored the iconic Country Club Plaza area and had a fabulous barbecue dinner at a well-known KC restaurant. My room at the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The public areas are modern and attractive. And there was a nice free breakfast. My only concern involved the parking, which is located in a fenced-in area with a gate that is activated via your hotel key card. After checking out, however, I had to arrange with the reception desk staff to let me exit the lot, since, by then, I didn't have my card anymore.

Despite the ongoing city construction, the location was incredibly convenient, and we understand that was completely outside of the hotel’s control. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality from the staff everyone at check-in was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Even after unexpected flooding issues, the hotel still went above and beyond to provide a lovely breakfast and ensure guests were comfortable. That level of care and dedication really shows how much they value their guests and strive to make every stay enjoyable, no matter the circumstances. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and very relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying here!

A great location & stay! Staff was knowledgeable & attentive to whatever I needed. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable enough for me. The parking gate was easy to use once guest room key was activated. There wasn’t too much of a noise level with the construction & other guests around me were respectful keeping to indoor noise.
