“Avoid!”

We are currently staying at this hotel and honestly wish we had chosen somewhere else. Upon arrival, there was no staff outside to greet guests, assist with luggage, or help locate a luggage cart. After checking in, we loaded all of our luggage onto a cart and went up to our room, only to discover that the keycard would not open the door. I contacted the front desk and was told security would come assist us. While waiting in the hallway, another guest informed me they had stayed in that same room the previous night and had experienced the exact same issue with the door lock. When security arrived, they also struggled to open the door and eventually contacted the front desk to report that the room should be taken out of service for maintenance repairs. Surprisingly, at no point did security ask for identification before attempting to access the room. The front desk then reassigned us to another room and stated that we had been “upgraded,” although the replacement room appeared identical to the one we originally booked. Unfortunately, the problems continued, as the air conditioning in the new room is also not functioning properly. We returned to the front desk to report the issue and requested some form of compensation, such as complimentary parking or breakfast, given the multiple inconveniences. That request was declined. This has been a very disappointing experience so far, especially for a hotel at this price point. I hope management will address these issues and improve both guest service and room maintenance going forward. And for what it’s worth we’re using Marriott points for the stay and have status, but it doesn’t appear we are looked at as a valued customer.

They say location is everything. And the sheritan crown center has definite location for those coming to kansas city for the first time. Everything we wanted to see on our short trip of two nights was close at hand and the covered walkway called the "Link" connected, not only our hotel with an adjoining hotel in the crown center, but also union station about two blocks away. Also, it is adjacent to the world war.One memorial and museum, which was the highlight of our short stay. I room on the thirty ninth floor afforded a beautiful view of the crown center union station and the world war one memorial also there was a vista from the elevator showing all of downtown. The rooms were comfortable with good tv.Good air conditioning and hot water for the shower.The bed could have been a little bit softer, but that's okay.It wasn't a big deal. also, the restaurant served a good breakfast with good speed and good food. My only disappointment was that the circular club in restaurant on the top of the hotel was closed. Bottom line would we stay there again? Yes, we would definitely stay there again on a trip to Kansas City and look forward to visiting there again.

Room was dirty upon checking in. Bubble gum was stuck to the bathroom floor. We rented this specifically to use the rooftop pool. The pool looked amazing in the photos. However, a bunch of tiles had fallen off the coping of the pool. The concrete around the pool was busted and rusting. The pool was dirty and the Sale Water was way off chemically. This place is a joke. $300 for the room. $33 to park. No free breakfast despite what they say. You have to be Elite in the rewards program for the free breakfast. If not, it’s $22 a plate for the powdered eggs. Book at Super 8. The quality is better. Or, book at a Hilton for better quality and cheaper. This is my first experience at a Sheraton. This hotel chain sucks. Never again.
