Great family friendly Inn

We had one of the larger rooms, great for families. 2 rooms with 4 beds and 2 baths. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are neat and clean. Pool was great after a day of exploring. There was also a nice swingset for smaller children and 2 fire pits. Great family friendly place to stay. Overall excellent Inn.

The room was very clean and comfortable, as were the hallways, buildings, and grounds. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The servers were very friendly and professional. A small breakfast menu of about 10 items means you can have something different every day, cooked to order. No clocks in room, so be sure to bring your own travel clock. Mini fridges do no have freezers, but the Front Desk staff was happy to freeze our ice packs overnight. The rooms have been recently updated (from our past stays) and are modern and cozy.

Beer fest Weekend

Quiet, comfortable location to our event. Just under a 2 mile walk to the venue. Staff were pleasant, room was spacious for what we needed. Bed was comfortable. Older property with some quaint decor.
Breakfast on site was good. Variety of dishes. Cookie time at 3:30P! Warm fresh baked cookies!!
Check in and out were very easy.
Not for me

It’s a big place, rooms in buildings and also motel style. We had a decent room in the ‘barn’ but there was a bad smell in the building, though not in the room. I think the smell cleared later.
We got moved to a motel style room but the standard of the room was a bit lower.
I wouldn’t go back. Wasn’t a great experience. It was quiet and rainy…

I wouldn’t go back. Wasn’t a great experience. It was quiet and rainy which didn’t help.
I think it was a bit much to receive a request for a tip at breakfast. And there was a severe warning about smoking in the second room and how we’d have to pay if the fire service were called. Must be a better way to deal with the situation.

Every stay excellent

Andrew made us feel very welcomed this stay, and is an asset to the establishment, made us our hot breakfast personally, as the restaurant was not staffed on our particular dates, but only as it was midweek, with not full capacity guest numbers. The buildings are beautifully decorated, with period quirky memorabilia. So many historical pieces to admire within the main buildings, and felt like home quite literally.
I would recommend this place every time, and will always return.
