On the edge of Echo Lake State Park, North Conway. 10-minute drive to Cranmore, 45 minutes to Bretton Woods and 60 minutes to Cannon. Driving time from Boston Logan International Airport: 2 hours 35 minutes.

We were very comfortable and happy at the White Mountain Hotel. Everything ran smoothly, check in and check out were very easy, all the staff was helpful and everyone was very thoughtful and patient with our kids. We loved the outdoor heated pool and the hot tub. Meals in the restaurant were delicious! Thank you for a smooth and relaxing stay.

My husband and I enjoyed one of the best New Year's Day brunch in memory. The chef and staff were all friendly and quite attentive. The food was outstanding, and I am mean outstanding. The brunch offered fresh oysters, marinated duck with its own gravy, REAL maple syrup (no fake stuff) and maple butter for the waffles, along with fresh fruit, newly cooked shrimp and mouthwatering lax. There was even sausage and gravy (southern favorite) and steak tips. All the favorites and then some to boot. All of this for $29.00 a person. We were not rushed and certainly were catered too. I hate writing a bad review, but I thought this time I should. I booked a vacation with my family during Christmas break, However my son was admitted to the ER for a very contagious illness. After contacting both the agency I booked through “Expedia” and the hotel itself to inform them of the unforeseen event. They request a medical report so they can refund my trip as non refundable was the only option I was able to book. I also requested if they can give us credits toward a future use so we can use it during a different time. I thought a hotel with such standard will prioritise client’s satisfaction but to my disappointment our request was denied. I understand that there are certain policies to follow, but in such unforeseen circumstances there should be an exception. I was turned down couple times when contacted the receptionist I also tried to speak to the manager Mr. Sullivan who ignored my call never bothered to return my call. This tells me nothing but the hotel could not care less about the well-being of their guests. Will never chose this place again Read less

I cannot wait to go back- This place is magical!!! The decor for Christmas with the wood fireplace in the lobby was so beautiful!! The food was first class -Delicious! I would travel 2 hours to go the restaurant !! I have been here 4 times now and each time the staff are outstanding!!

Wonderful place, a bit pricey. We do highly recommend it! The free breakfast is good. The rooms are very clean and spacious. When we went there were many families with small children. Lobby was very loud and chaotic. I picture it being more appropriate for adults.
