“Pleasant stay but...”

The hotel was everything we had hoped for. It is not 5 star luxury and does not claim to be but rooms are comfortable, dinner options are good (breakfast less so) and a good vibe throughout. However, our stay was soured as we left a high value item in the room. We emailed and phoned but never had any response from the hotel. It would pretty clearly have been found but even a reply to say that nothing had been found would have been better than being ignored
