“Perfectly Fall in New Hampshire and the WMR”

I can’t say enough good things about the White Mountain Resort. Sitting by the crackling fire, conversation was warm and genuinely friendly. An Australian family touring the area and local couples who come in for dinner and conversation made it even more so. The morning glow off the mountains and golden trees is stunning! It was quaint and perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

It was an amazing experience doing the echo lake trail & hike to White horse ledge, the trails start from the resort. Don't forget to ask for a map at front office.

“Disappointing Stay Due to ADA Violation”

We recently stayed at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort and, unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by how the staff handled our arrival with my wife’s trained service dog. At check-in, we were told we “should have called ahead” and that we couldn’t stay in our reserved room unless we moved to a “pet-friendly” room. This is not only incorrect but also a violation of ADA law. The experience was stressful and left us feeling unwelcome. I’ve since reported the incident to Capital One Travel, through whom we booked. I truly hope the management provides ADA training for staff so no other guest with a disability has to go through the same. On a positive note, aside from the beautiful landscape, our breakfast waitress and the housekeeper we met were both friendly and professional — they were the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing stay.
