The rooms felt cozy and comfortable, truly giving a “home away from home” feeling. The resort is quite large and can initially feel like a maze, but once you spend some time walking around and getting familiar with the layout, it becomes easy to navigate. There are also many charming, cozy areas located throughout the property where you can relax, unwind, and take in the surroundings.
Peigi provided an engaging and highly informative tour of the Lodge. Her knowledge, combined with an entertaining delivery, made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. While there were a few minor hiccups with the reservation system, the professionalism and attentiveness of the front desk staff quickly addressed any concerns, and the overall experience far outweighed those small challenges.
The Bierhall tour guide was equally impressive—very knowledgeable and personable, with well-timed side jokes that added a fun and relaxed element to the tour.
The bartenders in the lounge were also very professional and courteous. They took the time to hold conversations and were genuinely pleasant to talk with, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
Dining was a highlight of the stay. The prime rib in the dining room was superb, and the Bierhall food was equally delicious. We especially enjoyed the bratwurst, knackwurst, bauernwurst, and grilled salmon—each dish was well prepared and flavorful. The property itself is very picturesque, with beautiful scenery throughout, and there is so much the resort offers that there is always something to enjoy.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
