When it comes to ‘you-time’, Sheraton Brooklyn New York covers every kind of pleasure: there’s the fitness centre for the health-conscious; the Starbucks® café for the caffeine-hungry; and the rooftop garden for those in need of fresh air – and the odd cocktail. Sitting among the skyscrapers of Brooklyn, the Asian-infused Kimoto Rooftop & Bar gives a nod to the East in its carefully created bar food, curated craft beers, and concocted cocktails. Throw in views over the buzzing district and towards the Statue of Liberty, and you’ll see why it’s one of the hotel’s most popular meeting spots. In fact, it’s the perfect place to head after a day exploring your neighbourhood, which packs in dining, shopping, and entertainment – much of it just a stroll away at City Point Brooklyn.

Without a doubt, one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in, topped off by an outrageous $700/per night rate. Without a doubt, one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in, topped off by an outrageous $700/per night rate. We were there for the Brooklyn Half Marathon so needed a place close to the starting line and didn't have many choices. The TV and coffee machine didn't work, the soap dispenser in the shower had fallen off the wall and was laying in the tub, and the main lamp had only one light bulb in it (the other bulb was gone so someone knew it needed to be replaced). To top it off, the air conditioning also wasn't working when we arrived. Consistent with everything else, the breakfast was atrocious and it seemed like all of the food had been brought in from somewhere else.
Don't use the bathrooms on the basement level either, they're sensor activated but weren't working when we tried to use them (nasty!)
We told the person at the front desk about all of the problems and she just stared at us. Sheraton/Marriott should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. It's in a great location which is the only thing it has going for it.

Great location, metro nearby, friendly concierge, clean room. Great beds and excellent AC. Hotel offered us a car service to the airport.

Great location, absolutely filthy

Terrible. Was given a room that was already/still occupied. Reception asked me if I just checked in when I went back downstairs to notify them. Then made it seem like it was a favour to give me an unoccupied room?

New room is filthy. Found a curly pube in my towel after I finished showering. Had to buy plastic slippers from the nearby Target because the shower is gross as hell. Random towel found under the sink counter which is a clear sign of how little they clean.

The location of the hotel is good and close to the subway system. Our room was clean and the AC worked well. The beds are a bit on the smaller side. So overall a good stay.

After leaving the hotel, my credit card got charged for the hotel room, but the deposit is still on my card. I am writing this review now 3 weeks later, and after multiple times of sending messages, I have not received any feedback. The hotel is completely blocking my card and I expected more from a Sheraton hotel.
