“Easy location”

First time visitors to New York hotel was really good. Location was perfect and we walked and used subway with ease from hotel door. Room was good, breakfast just average but overall we recommend.

This hotel experience was mixed for me. I just stayed three nights (Oct. 2-5). On the positive side, the room, by NYC standards, was spacious (2 queen beds) and it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the outside noise level was extreme, and I have been to the city numerous occasions. It seemed like the window was open (it was not), and there were constant horn honking, and ambulance sirens throughout the night for all three nights we stayed. I cannot stress enough that I’m aware of the city sounds like this, but most hotels have much better insulation or thicker walls or thicker glass than this hotel. But the real letdown and frustration was on our second day there my mother could not get a warm shower. It was completely cold. She was trying to do this around 8:30 AM on a Saturday . We didn’t complain since we thought this was an odd, one-time occasion. However, we set alarms for 4 AM on Sunday morning so we could get to the airport and I only had cold water not lukewarm - plain cold. Needless to say I did not get a shower to travel home. The front desk said they would have the manager call me. I have yet to hear from anyone from the hotel. A hotel, a three star hotel, not having hot water is a dealbreaker. I am here to warn you not to stay here if you like to bathe. Also, as a sidenote, one of the two elevators did not work on Saturday afternoon.

Great location with easy access to major places and restaurants. The bellman arranged a car service to take our family to the airport in one vehicle. The staff went the extra mile to help us retrieve a suitcase we accidentally left behind in the lobby after we left for the airport. They sent the suitcase to the airport and we got it before our flight! We appreciate their outstanding customer service!
