Great location, when exiting to the street it smells great with the local flower shops. However, the room doors slam loudly waking you up, the offered extra cost included breakfast is a very poor value. Local offsite restaurants offer much better food. I think the food service is being contracted out and it shows....a blueberry muffin with 6 blueberries in it....very poor. The room was clean and everything worked. 8-9 years ago pre-Hilton ownership it was a much better hotel. It is $$$$ NYC expensive for what you get. And the pillows are way too soft. When is the industry going to smarten up and give one firm and one soft pillow and eliminate all the complaints! Staff was average.
Won't stay there again.

"Boutique"-level service from Fatima

Extremely friendly and helpful service from Fatima (and her colleagues) at the front desk in this busy Manhattan branch. Sometimes staying at large chain hotels in big cities can feel rather impersonal and sterile...but Fatima went out of her way to give a "boutique hotel" level of service, really friendly and helpful.
Friendly and Helpful staff, great location!

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Great location, recommend it. If you're looking for being at a good spot in the city with close walking proximity to all what NY has to offer, Hilton Garden Chelsea is a favorable option. I came in for one night stay and was happy to have my first 2 days at this prime place.
Awesome

The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is in a very convenient area with lots of activities around it. Definitely recommend if you are looking to stay close to Korea-town as well. Everyone was very nice and answered questions if needed.

A group of 4 friends stayed for a theater weekend. We were close to the theaters without being in the midst of the Times Square crowds.
The room was clean, comfortable and a bit larger than some NY hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast omelets and French toast served by cheerful waitstaff in the restaurant. Everyone we encountered in staff from the bellmen to the manager were friendly and very helpful.
My only concern is that the hotel’s computers were not in sync with the Hilton Honors app. I checked in to one room online and was given my digital key, but the room was already occupied so I had to go back to the lobby and rearrange our rooms. When I checked out on the app, I checked out of the room I was assigned originally so had to go back to the lobby and fix that before we could leave. ( I hope that didn’t affect the current occupants) My printed receipts not tally with my actual charge on my credit card. Just mildly irritating and hopefully fixed quickly. I would still stay at this hotel again!
