The hotel

Promising that coveted ‘loft living’ feel, Hyatt Centric Wall Street’s roomy rooms (starting at 345 square foot each) come with high ceilings, oversized panelled windows, and cool modern styling. But you’re in Wall Street’s only hotel – so making the most of your surroundings is a must, even if you only make it as far as the hotel’s mezzanine floor for craft cocktails at Centric Bar & Grill, or its decadent buffet restaurant for American dishes and handcrafted cocktails.

Overall stay was good. No complaints with the room, cleanliness and the location. The hotel charges additional hotel fees on top of the daily price, but cannot provide a coffee maker in your room or even provide 24/7 coffee in the reception/common area. They only provide coffee in few hours in the morning. Coffee is a basic requirement, and not providing a coffee machine in the room sounds crazy to me. I have never seen this anywhere else before, even in other Hyatt hotels I stayed in. I cannot believe a brand like Hyatt will do this. This sounds like an idea thrown by a consultant to reduce costs by reducing the customer experience. Also, they put one tray of cookies in the common area once a day. During check-in, I went to grab one for me and my wife, and the person ahead of me got the last one. When I inquired with the staff if another tray was coming, I was told that the hotel only puts one tray out a day, and thus, there are no more welcome cookies. That made me sad. The stay was good, but these basic, minor things kept it from being perfect. Hope Hyatt can work on these minor things that make a major difference in the experience. Read less

We had an amazing time here. The room was better that we could expect and the staff was very professional and welcoming. We also recommend the breakfast.

No vents in bathroom. Started to smell mildewy after a day. Not all listed services under destination fee were available. Great location. Strong AC. Comfortable bed.

Would stay again, comfort stay, had some issues, but the staff was able to make it better after my check-out and overall I can say that I am satisfied with the resolution.
