We had a disasterous experience. We were here for a special occasion and paid $1100 for one night. The room itself was very underwhelming but also not soundproofed as advertised. We had very loud neighbors. The front desk team said they didn’t have another room for us despite the fact that you could clearly see on line that they didn’t. We… Read more

Great stay just after the New Year - bitterly cold but perfect location given easy access to Hudson Yards and the on/off accessibility from West Side Highway. Wife and I are both club members in Connecticut so we were excited to stay here. Valet was right at the front door and drop off was quick. Check-in was a breeze and front desk staff was pleasant. Room was ready, spacious(for NYC standards), very well appointed, clean and had great views. Wouldn't change a thing. Amenities were also great - taking advantage of the gym, cold plunge pools, barrel saunas and Electric Lemon restaurant. Enjoyed room service once which was quick and as promised. The best part, however, is the proximity to Hudson Yards - especially in an NYC winter. Check out was also as seamless as check in. Very helpful staff. We would absolutely stay longer but the hotel is not kid friendly(which is great - we all need that sometimes), and we left our daughter at home with her grandparents - we will be back when our little one is a bit older. Booked thru Amex Travel and got all the Fine Hotels perks - which doesn't always happen at other hotels. Read less

Reserved a room for early check in and confirmed the day prior. It’s NYC! We have scheduled plans and the hotel was 1)not ready for us 2)front desk could care less we had plans scheduled; flippant with no apologies or even acknowledgment of the inconvenience/loss of our scheduled event. For a five star hotel, I expected much better!!

We have stayed at many hotels in NYC and wanted to try something new. Well we had great success in trying something new. Excellent Service ( thank you, Dan, at the front desk) Great View Great Food ( super healthy menu options) The restaurant and Bar were well-staffed and presented many options The Gym and SPA were amazing. We scheduled time in the spa after an excellent workout When you enter the hotel, you are warmly welcomed by everyone working there. Nothing is impossible or cannot be done . We had some last-minute needs, and they accommodated our requests up to an extended late checkout due to an issue with our brunch reservations at another location. We loved the room ( ask for a river view). The blackout shades and the room temperature settings perfectly combine darkness and calm and quiet for a great night's sleep. An abundance of ride shares seemingly available in single-digit minutes when needed, which was nice So what was not significant? There are a couple of things. The outdoor terrace was not open (it opens in April). It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. The outdoor pool was not open ( to our knowledge), which was a bit of a letdown but not a deal-breaker Light controls in the room are a little hard to see in the darkness if you need to use the restroom overnight. Non of the not great things would stop us from returning, and we should empower anyone interested in staying at this location to do so. There are shopping and dining options within a one-minute walk of the hotel. But don't sleep on the electric lemon. They can make your dietary needs no matter what they are. Read less
