Outdated, definitely not 4 star, a bed to sleep in really- location good and close to everything. Food good in the bar and its cosy. Air con in the room was like something from the 1900s sounded like an aircraft. A great hotel for the Solo traveler. A perfect location in Manhattan. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The front desk who I mostly dealt with couldn’t have been more helpful. To all the staff in the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel, We hope you are well. We had the pleasure of staying with you for four nights from 28th May 2025. On arrival we were greeted warmly by everybody at reception and made to feel very welcome – a complete contrast to the previous hotel in Washington where we had stayed for the previous four days. This warmth and interest in our activities continued throughout our stay each day as we left the hotel and as we returned each evening. While all staff members were very helpful we got to know the names of some of the people, Crystal, Brendan, Óisín, Michael and Kinga, who all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kindness and amazing hospitality. Aidan and Edna Jordan Dublin, Ireland Read less
