Best Hampton Inn ever stayed at! We had booked adjoining rooms, so were upset to find out upon arrival that we did not have adjoining rooms. Were able to get 2 rooms on same floor, so ended up working out even better! So hard to share a room w/ 3 teenagers, so this was really nice! Great location of hotel, on a side street, but super close to Times Square action & a subway station. Friendly staff, quiet rooms, & pretty good breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't have the breakfast too much because was very crowded & didn't want to deal with the elevator hassle. Plus, a few of us don't even eat breakfast, so worked out fine. Lower floors are convenient for the stairs option if don't want to deal with the elevator. We were on 8th floor. Don't worry so much about getting a street view room, it's just a side street, not a Times Square view, & was quiet, which was great. We had a back view room & our kids had a street view. Wasn't disappointed w/ the back view - nice & quiet! My husband & I had a King bed room, & was soooo nice! Clean, more spacious & modern than I thought it would be, nice shower, comfy bed, lots of spots to store things. I usually don't sleep too good in hotels, but slept great here! Even without my own pillow, which was nervous about! Loved the 2-light option in the bathroom (main & just around sink), & even a night light! So rare! Nice, big TV & 2 night stands by the bed. Our kids' double bed room was nice too! We regret that we never made it to the rooftop area, but saw some amazing views throughout the city, so it's fine! Overall, great hotel! Keep up the good work! We just returned from a nice stay at this hotel. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, often greeting us in the mornings and asking about our day when we returned in the evenings. Breakfast was fine, but it does get crowded. Go early! I was worried about the elevators, but we only had to wait a significant amount of time once. We must’ve timed our comings and goings just right! Our room was super clean! The A/C was nice and cold, which we appreciated because it was hot! The one knock I would give this hotel was the furnishings in our room. They were really banged up. The drawer that was in the nightstand was off the track and we could never use it because we couldn’t get it to open. We stayed at this hotel several years ago before the renovation and they had the same furnishings then (desk, drawers, nightstand, headboards, and armoire). I’m not sure why they didn’t replace the furniture when they renovated. All that to say, this would not keep me from staying here again. I think this hotel is a great bang for your buck! It’s in a great location, staff is nice and welcoming, breakfast is included, and it’s very clean. Read less

Close to the subway station, walking distance from Times Square , lots of restaurants nearby. Staff is friendly, break fast spread enough to fill your stomach, although the counter may become very crowded at peak times. 24/7 coffee bar a big plus. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are of a reasonable size.

Staff was wonderful. The room was very comfortable. As a Hilton Vacation Club owner, I had a great conversation with Levon in the lobby. I encourage anyone staying or wanting to stay in the theater district to check this place out & talk to Levon about ownership.
