I did a ton of research on where to stay with my family as I am super picky and landed on this hotel and so glad we did! Check in was easy, room was spacious for NYC and also clean and quiet. We were on the 12th floor and never had an issue with the elevator. We rarely had to wait even in the morning. We only had the breakfast one morning and there were many choices and it was good. I felt safe at this hotel and there was always a security guard around and the location was super convenient to everything! The outside concierge offered us a driver to the airport who was outside the hotel and it was more affordable than an uber and a very comfortable suburban. We appreciated that very much! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone! Read less

This hotel was centrally located where we wanted to be. All of the bellmen were amazing and extremely helpful. They helped us navigate the subway system. They helped us arrange for a car back to LGA. The Hampton Inn location is perfectly placed in mid-town right by all the Broadway shows and makes getting to and from the theatres so easy. The Hampton Inn location is perfectly placed in mid-town right by all the Broadway shows and makes getting to and from the theatres so easy. There are also easy distance subway stations to get you anywhere in the city. The location cannot be beaten. The hotel itself is largely clean. Having breakfast included in the price is a huge bonus and very unusual in New York. Great car service to the airports. Nice observation deck. Downsides are poor communication throughout hotel. We had written ahead to say we were arriving separately but couldn’t get access without main booking guest. Most irritating when travelled from UK. Housekeeping is only every other day and twice we didn’t receive at all and had to request towels be brought to the room without cleaning happening. We also were told we could request housekeeping on the 2nd day but when we did - it didn’t happen. The lifts can be a problem at busy times. If you’re in a hurry get down in the lift early. They were also often dirty with spillages and sticky floors. Breakfast is at best adequate. Read less

My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This was my first time and my daughter’s second staying at this hotel. I will stay again when I return to NY. The front desk employees were pleasant and helpful as well as the concierge the kitchen and room service.

Fantastic location. Close to all the action and Time Square subway but didn’t hear all the noise. Everyone was friendly. Felt safe. Clean. Only negative was plan ahead for the elevators. They can be very crowded especially at peak times and if you’re claustrophobic plan to take the stairs.
