Such nice people! A “Reasonable“ hotel near Times Square. What makes it stand out in my opinion is the kind staff at the front desk. I got a text every day of my three day stay asking me if I was satisfied, and if there was anything they could do. They had housekeeping services every day, which is unusual in my experience these days after Covid. We did have a few glitches, but they were fixed with a call to the front desk. ( problem with the bathroom faucet and hot water) We were quite impressed with the speed with which they responded to our issues. The room is quite large for NYC (which isn’t saying much). The breakfast was above expectations for a hotel breakfast-don’t miss the hot cinnamon buns. A tip – this is my second time staying here and we stayed on the second floor this time so we could walk up and down from the lobby. The small elevators get very crowded at checkout and check in times so walking was a real time saver.

Booked last minute at a decent value. This is a very old building but honestly my 2 night stay was perfectly fine. Everything worked, good water pressure, room was a decent size for NYC, breakfast was adequate. With a little TLC and a lobby/breakfast area renovation, this would be serious competition to the neighboring hotels. The staff were welcoming and friendly and checked in on me via text throughout my visit. Pleasantly surprised.

South end of Times Square just 1/2 block from Macy's and 2 blocks from the Subway. Location was great if you want Times Square or the subway for tourist activities The hotel room was clean, a bit dated and small but we did not choose the hotel so we could vacation in the hotel. It was just a place to sleep. They did have a good free breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, coffee, bagels... so this saved us at least $25 or $30 per person each day. Hotel staff was friendly and gave free waters each day
