“Deceived by the pictures”

Staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. The hotel is old and needs remodeling ASAP! My room felt dirty all the time even after maintenance did the cleanup, the carpet looks awful and for a city like NY it’s the worst idea to have one in the room. Walls were chipped, furniture was messed up. I for one won’t be considering this place ever again. It’s a shame because it’s really well located and with a lot of restaurants and stores. The worst part was that we needed to change our son’s diaper after checkout and the bathroom they had was extremely filthy and the other one didn’t have a changing table.

Mila and Ronald are TOP NOTCH customer service professionals! George L is my pen name, but in case they are looking I want them to know it is me, Bill McGowan. I just stayed with them and they went above and beyond. The hotel is being renovated in the lobby but they handled it with class, kindness and humor. Kudos. Recommend because of THEM. And 36th tween 5 n 6th has a bunch of great restaurants too!

This is my 4th time visiting New York and 2nd time staying at this hotel. Breakfast is very nice! Rooms are clean and comfortable. I wished the beds were bigger but it worked. Is well located and staff is super nice. I highly recommend this hotel.
