“Unauthorised entry into my room by strangers”

During the 2nd night at the hotel, strangers entered my room while my minor kids were on the bed watching tv. Had we not been present in the room it could have turned out terribly for us as all my cash and other valuables were on the tv stand. The persons finally agreed to leave the room and this situation was brought to management's attention. Mgt indicated it was an error on their part. Highly dissatisfied as i felt as though my family's safety and privacy was compromised.
“Terrible Experience - Double Charged and No Resolution”

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Times Square South with my wife and had a very disappointing experience. I fully prepaid my reservation on April 7 through Booking.com for a stay from April 13 to 16. Due to a flight delay, which we reported to the hotel in advance, we finally arrived in the early morning of April 15. At check-in, I was asked to pay a deposit, so I used my debit card. Later, I realized that additional charges had been made to my card, resulting in a duplicate charge for my stay.
Despite providing proof of payment and contacting the hotel multiple times, I have not received any solution. This appears to be an abusive and non-transparent practice. I recommend that future guests carefully verify all charges.
