It may sit in one of the world’s priciest zip codes, but the radically revamped Kimpton Hotel Eventi has taken over an entire block of Manhattan – proudly showing off that fact with a wall of street-level windows giving passers-by glimpses of its dining and drinking venues. Of course, as a guest, you get to experience the glitzy world beyond those windows (and beyond the view-grabbing floor-to-ceiling windows in every guestroom). Part chic hotel, part art gallery (both in keeping with its artsy Chelsea address), its new lobby feels more like a designer’s living room thanks to the fashion-forward furniture, coffee table books, and warmly lit artworks. And, within four blocks of the Empire State Building, The High Line, and Macy’s, there’s no shortage of dining outside, but Chef Laurent Tourondel has made ‘dining in’ a must, with his Italian-influenced and industrial-styled L’Amico and The Vine.

They were also very accommodating for me puppy who I brought with me :). The best part however, was the staff. Everyone was super kind and helpful, especially Chris! Chris welcomed me and immediately made me feel comfortable and safe. He took care of my belongings and welcomed my dog that I had brought with me. It was always a pleasure seeing Chris & the rest of the staffs' friendly faces during my stay.

My mom and I stayed here for 2 nights to see Beyonce at Met Life and a broadway show and just tour around NYC. We both left feeling so cared for and so happy we chose Eventi. To start, we were greeted when we pulled up by the kindest, friendliest staff! Chris and Urbano are absolute standouts (somebody please give these guys a big raise - they deserve it!). Throughout our stay they were so helpful and kind. They are very clearly wonderful human beings and IHG is lucky to have them on staff - the check in was easy and the woman who checked us in (so sorry I didin't get her name) was so helpful and kind. The whole hotel is clean and beautiful and the rooms are so spacious, particularly for NYC. As we were leaving my mom and I both commented that the hotel was wonderful, but it was the kindness and care of the staff that truly made our stay fabulous. I would give it 10 starts if I could.

Excellent property with great location and superb staff. Major shout out to Chris, our valet. He really set the tone immediately upon arrival. He might be the friendliest NYer. Room was larger than expected and super clean and comfortable. Bar is perfect and restaurant is delicious. Would stay there again!

What a beautiful hotel! From the moment I arrived the staff was outstanding! Chris and Derek took great care of the bags, opened doors, and hailed cabs. They were attentive and personable. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was complimentary coffee available and it rivaled the local coffee shops. The location is ideal for Soho shopping and also the show district or Uptown. The Kimpton family of hotels never disappoints.
