Myself , husband and friends stayed here last week. The hotel was lovely. Great location. Clean room, comfy bed and nice staff. The room was on the small side but had everything you need. The water bottles were a great touch. We would stay here again.

A really brilliant hotel with the exception mainly of the seriously under-utilised NYC roof-top bar. The roof top bar was 10 pm ? The roof top bar has a n absolutely fabulous vista of the Empire States Building , but the whole experience was completely ruined by its early closure & poor under-utilisation. A real shame really ! The food in the restaurant/burger bar was also very average & it was nowhere near as good as could it easily have been & perhaps was in the past (my supposition) ; perhaps the hotek staff are over-worked! The rooms though were very good , the hotel is value for money & it is an excellent location in midtown Manhattan. The complimentary coffee, flavoured water & gym appreciate; on the 2nd floor Despite my reservations the Kirxby is still a strongly recommended hotel. Read less

After a very long uber journey from the airport (traffic was stop and start the whole way) we were greeted with a smile by the excellent reception staff (throughout our stay the staff were all very friendly and helpful). This is a very stylish hotel in an excellent location close to everything – hop on hop off bus stop is at the end of the road (turn left outside the hotel) – there was only one lift working when we arrived but by the next day both other lifts had been fixed. Our room (luxury Queen room) had coffee/tea maker, fridge and a safe. Bathroom was not huge but big enough. The best bit of this hotel, by far, is the roof top bar and amazing view of the Empire State Building and the view over New York. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again if in New York Read less

Another of our favourite parts was the rooftop bar, its incredible - fabulous views of the Empire State Building and great cocktails. What a lovely hotel. All the staff at the front desk are so friendly and helped with any queries we had. The water/coffee station is a godsend in hot weather. The hotel is ideally located with a stunning view of the Empire State Building. When we come back to New York- we will definitely rebook. Thanks again to all the staff
