We had room 1210 which is opposite the lift and on the same floor as the rooftop bar. There was limited noise from this but if you have smaller children or are a light sleeper this probably isn’t the room for you. The room itself was lovely with everything you need. The bed is a good size and very comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent although very noisy. Bathrooms are small but have everything needed. We had a small problem with the shampoo (had two shower gels instead of a shampoo) but this was fixed very quickly. The location of the hotel is excellent with a subway stop at the end of the street. The F train will take you up or down town. All in all we absolutely loved it here and would stay again. Read less

I don't normally as a rule give 5* reviews as there's always something that can be improved on. That being said myself & my family have just returned from a spending a week at this wonderful hotel and credit where credits due they do definitely deserve 5*'s. The staff from the moment we arrived til the moment we departed were absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful, professional & a joy to interact with. The hotel itself is very well situated being just between 5th & 6th avenue meaning there's loads of things right on your doorstep. Macy's, the empire state building etc are both literally about a 5min walk from the front door of the hotel. Along with access to the subway literally at the end of the street. There a loads of little places to eat nearby for either eat in or take away food. Including the black tap burger restaurant which is actually joined to the hotel (huge bonus if it's raining etc). Like it or not no matter where you stay in Manhattan you are going to hear noise from the street in your room (sirens etc). Manhattan is a busy place if you expect silence anywhere in the city your an idiot. That being said though there really wasn't too much noise that we heard from the street & certainly nothing that kept us awake. There are so many great little touches that this hotel offers this review would be far too long if I listed them all.... Suffice to say if/when we return to NYC, I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. Cannot recommend highly enough. Read less

All aspects of this hotel are excellet apart from breakfast, and would probably be better without offering it at all. The limited range of breakfast food and drinks are served on disposable plates and cups, with similarly disposable knives and forks. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were well equiped and spotless.
