Beautiful hotel excellent location on Times Square. Visited this hotel last week with my friend for 5 days we recently changed our booking from a different hotel to the Marriott Marquis. We were so pleased from our arrival to our departure everything was perfect. We were on the 36th floor with a side view to Times Square. We ate in the hotel for four of the nights food and ambiance was excellent. It was nice to sit there and enjoy our food and drinks at our leisure. The lifts are a great experience press what floor you want scan your room card and it tells you which left you take. No waiting. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the toiletries provide are of high quality. Coffee machine was good and was replenished everyday. Can’t fault house keeping. Well done to all the staff. Read less

Check-in was quick and easy. The desk clerk was extremely friendly and so patient with our autistic son who was celebrating his 20th birthday and living out his self-confessed lifelong dream to stay at this hotel and ride the elevators there. The clerk was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel as he had worked there since the mid-1980s. He traded fun-facts about the hotel and hotel elevators' history with our son throughout the check-in process. He put us in two wonderful rooms, each with an excellent view of Times Square. We had an amazing stay. We really enjoyed the meal credit per room to order room service after a long day on our feet. And checkout was quick and easy as well. Would definitely stay there again. Communication perfect at reception and very clear when checking in / out. Dropped bags off after check out then advised to go to street level to retrieve where they’d also get us a taxi. Bell hop had our cases in less than 5 mins and loaded us straight into a taxi. Do not be put off by bad reviews. This hotel is a gem. Read less

This hotel was perfect in every way. The most important consideration for us is always the temperature control system, and this was the easiest, quietest, and most efficient heating/ac system I’ve ever experienced. We had two different room because a friend joined us for the latter part of our stay, and the transition was seamless thanks to incredibly accommodating front desk staff. Our room on the 25th floor had an enormous window that looked out on Times Square; at night we could sometimes hear sirens or music but it was all so muffled that it didn’t interfere with our sleep. Our room on the 36th floor faced away from the Square and you could hear a pin drop. Both rooms were very large for NY, had great showers, and were absolutely spotlessly clean. At times we asked for additional hangers and pillows and they were delivered to our room in a flash. I don’t think I would ever stay in Times Square again because it is utter madness. But the location for attending shows is perfect and the subway system is convenient. So if Times Square is your thing, this hotel should be on your itinerary! Read less

Very nice room The air con pump/motor was noisy. Reported nothing done. I don't think there was anything wrong. Just a lack of sound insulation. They had an event that was very noisy. It woke me up. I complained that it was unacceptable. Got a $100 credit, totally pointless. Cleaning missed one day, rubbish left in room The breakfast… Read more

I complained that it was unacceptable. Got a $100 credit, totally pointless. Cleaning missed one day, rubbish left in room The breakfast was incredibly expensive. There justification is that you get $40 credit every day. Food was of good quality, but service was very poor. Mainly lack of drink refills. A very nice hotel in heart of time square. Would i stay again. Unlikely/Possibly depending on offer at time of booking. Read less
