Spent 4 nights at the beginning of July 2025. My family of 4 in a quad room i.e. the one with the bunk beds. The kids absolutely loved it (G16, B12). It was a great base for exploring New York as it is very close to Times Square, Empire State, Grand Central Station et al. My only "gripe" is that the rooms are very compact, but we managed to make it work. The hotel itself is very cool, plenty of places to sit down and relax if you want to get out of the room for a little while. My son kept wanting to go down to the second floor to play foosball, cornhole or connect-4. However, I did once go downstairs to find him at the reception surrounded by 3 staff listening with smiles and patience as he tried to make a case for the metric system. Which brings me to my next point of how really friendly and helpful the staff are. There are also many other small touches that made it very enjoyable such as free filter coffee in the mornings, and sweets at the reception. The other bonus was that you could use the hotel credits at the fantastic pastry shop next door to the main hotel entrance. We had a lovely breakfast and coffee every morning and used the credits to reduce the cost. When we hopefully go back to New York again, this will be the first hotel that I check. It was great, thank you. Read less

After seeing the room and realizing what I had done, I told Ricky the situation, said I am not sleeping in a bed with my brother, please tell me you have a room available. They had only one room left that’s really intended for VIP members, but he hooked us up, got us the room for 4 nights, and didn’t even ask for any additional money to upgrade. Stellar customer service. This is what keeps you coming back. Read less

Joan was the best human ever. I was so stressed from the flooding and I was so impressed by how kind she was making me feel way less worried and at ease
