This hotel is a complete disgrace.
We had just finished checking in, and when we decided to go downstairs to get something to eat, we became trapped in the elevator.
I was stuck for one full hour inside the elevator together with my 14-year-old son. The elevator doors would not open, and we were exposed to extreme cold, with a wind chill sensation of minus 19 degrees.
At no point did hotel management come to the property to provide assistance. The manager showed no humanity or responsibility in handling a situation involving a minor.
The front desk employee was completely unprepared, incompetent, and unable to take basic action. He did not call emergency services and showed no capacity to handle a serious safety incident.
My daughter, who was in the room, had to leave the room herself and take the initiative to call the fire department, because the hotel staff did absolutely nothing.
This is not about money. It is about safety, responsibility, and basic human decency. Guests should never experience something like this, especially involving a child.
I will make sure this experience is known on TripAdvisor, Booking, and all relevant platforms so other travelers are aware of the risks of staying at this hotel.
