“Look no further”

Our first ever trip to NYC & indeed USA. We explored many hotels & opted for RIU in Times Square for 3 reasons. 1. Location 2. Excellent reviews 3.Breakfast. And are so glad we did. It’s a big busy bustling hotel yet ran incredibly effectively which is a credit to the leadership and entire team. Breakfast gets oh so busy yet they know exactly how to cope well with high demand. And the quality of ingredients and options were incredibly impressive. Our room was excellent. Very clean, great shower & oh so comfy bed! We would 100% return. Well done to the entire team 👍😊

“Great location but can find better”

This was our second stay at the RIU in a week having flown in then got the train to Washington. We stayed in a junior suite as we had a 13 year old staying with us. The pros; - the room is spacious by New York standards. - The hotel is modern - the staff are friendly and keen to help - the breakfast choice is good but it is all buffet - the bed is fairly comfy The cons; - no privacy in the room. The bathroom is open plan so three in a room can suddenly feel awkward. - insufficient space for three sets of luggage. - the rooms need a bit more refreshing around the bathrooms. - they expect you to know how to put the sofa bed up and to do this. - They only give you one pillow each. - on our first stay, after waiting an hour for our luggage to arrive we gave up and headed out. They don’t have sufficient staff to keep up with demand. - the rooms near the elevators are noisy! - even if you’ve checked in online, check in takes forever. I nearly asked what exactly they were doing! Then if the room isn’t ready and you have to go back for the key, another 5-10 minutes for this to happen! - our second room was not cleaned to the usual high standards. Top tip- None of the taxi / Uber drivers know the hotel so make sure you have the address to hand. A good location but we won’t return.

Best location to Times Square all restaurants are pretty close to the hotel.i had the best breakfast was amazing.thanks to Taher at the breakfast lounge was very helpful. Thanks to ibrahim at the reception checked me in real quick and he was polite
