Dear Riu Plaza New York Times Square Team, I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First of all, I would like to say that the location of the hotel is fantastic — being right in the heart of Manhattan is a major plus. The building is modern and clean, and the overall ambiance is quite pleasant. However, I was quite surprised and disappointed by the lack of some very basic amenities in the room. For example, there was only one complimentary bottle of water provided on the first day, and none were supplied on the following days. In a hotel of this standard, and especially at this price point, I would expect at least daily bottled water. Additionally, although there is a kettle in the room, there was no tea or coffee provided to use with it. This is very unusual compared to many other hotels I have stayed in — even budget hotels typically offer these simple refreshments. I believe that small touches like providing water, tea, and coffee on a daily basis significantly improve the guest experience. I hope the hotel management will consider enhancing the in-room amenities in the future. I will be sharing this feedback publicly as well, as I think future guests should be aware of what to expect. This was our second visit to New York but our first stay at this hotel. If we are lucky enough to visit again we will definitely stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday to an excellent standard. The bathroom was very clean and the shower excellent.Our room was on the third floor and on the 46th Street side of the property with very little street noise enabling a good night's sleep every night. Exiting the lift on the first morning we were faced with a large queue for breakfast but immediately a member of staff kindly pointed us in the direction of the bar area where the queues are smaller. Every morning after that we headed straight to the bar for breakfast where we were always seated within 5 minutes and treated to an excellent range of food, especially the fresh fruit. The cooked selection was also excellent with different items introduced every day. We stayed as two couple s with a busy 5 days in NY...well from checkin to checkout it was excellent. The location is superb, staff amazing and helpful nothing too much trouble plus great rooms ours was on the 24 floor great views and very comfortable ... would 100% stay gain. It fulfilled all our needs. Plus breakfast included which is excellent.

Lovely very clean hotel not far from Times Square. Breakfast options had everything you need. Rooms were ample size and cleaned daily. Would definitely recommend
