My overall experience was wonderful. Quick check in, comfortable rooms and a bed mattress I would like to replicate in my own home. I loved the location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The room was comfortable but small with very limited space for our bags or clothing and we only had one chair. Our king bed was comfortable with nice pillows and sheets. The bathroom was clean with excellent lighting although the towels definitely could have been better. All things considered we had a great stay and loved the location. I want to commend the staff for their excellent service and two staff members went above and beyond to help us during our stay. I want to thank Sanchez and Kevin for helping us with everything we needed, from restaurant recommendations to my endless questions about the subway. Guys, thank you so much for your help. We couldn't have done it without you. Read less

This hotels location is the best thing about it. Fabulous views of Times Square and well within walking distance of so many NY attractions. Also there is a great pub about 4 doors away! Noise isn't really a factor as you are so high up street noise barely carries. Reception is on the 11th floor so as there are 40+ stories rooms are reasonably quiet considering where you are. Check-in was good...we arrived early and there is a great bag storage system with a bus-boy who gives you a receipt etc. They also did let us in a couple of hours early which was great. The staff are first class, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but adequately furnished with plenty of storage. The main negative is with such a huge Hotel (600 odd rooms) we were expecting a proper restaurant which catered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Instead what there is, is a kind of multi function sitting area (admittedly quite large) with a kind of snack bar set up where you can get a coffee in the morning and it does sell pre-packaged sandwiches, croissants, yoghurt and fruit etc...not very appetising. Lunch is either a chicken burger - hamburger etc also pretty yuk (we tried this on arrival) dinner is really bar-snacks i.e. chicken wings, fries, dip and bread etc also very average. There is a bar and waiter service at night. Prices are high for both and better value found nearby for similar offerings. This seating area is handy though, if you are early for check-in or have checked out and have time to kill before leaving for the airport etc. or as a meeting place. We found the hotel VERY expensive compared to many we had stayed in on a multi-city/country trip. Obviously the location accounts for this. Read less

Water pressure in shower was good. Despite high price, the Tempo hotel does not provide any free breakfast. Not even water. My package comes with $10 food credits but when checked in at the hotel. The front staff failed to disclose that I could use towards drinks. There is a krug coffee machine in the room but it has a tiny cup and wasn’t really hot. Some street noise was heard even though we were on the 31st floor. Read less
