Family Suite

It is difficult to find a hotel that can accommodate a family of five but The Fifty Sonesta had a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch bed. They had a kitchenet with a refer. It was the perfect place for our family. Staff was friendly. Good location and easily walkable to a lot of major attractions.
Deposit Not Returned - Continuously Ignored Emails

We stayed here in June and although the hotel itself was a great stay with really friendly staff, unfortunately we have experienced what seems to be a common issue on Tripadvisor of deposits not being returned... we paid $200 deposit upon arrival and was told this would be refunded to credit card after our stay. It's now been 3 weeks and we still haven't received this, I have emailed twice, and filled out two website form enquiries, unfortunately these are all being ignored. So although the hotel itself was great, I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Always nifty at the Fifty😀

We love the Fifty. It’s our home away from home. We even have a fairy godfather here.
Randolf! He’s just the best I would say he is the heart and soul of the hotel!
We’ve been coming here for a few years. It’s a very nice hotel spacious rooms. The staff is amazing. It really feels like home. ❤️
Everything that could have gone wrong did

From the moment I opened the room for the first time until I checked out and left NYC, everything that could have gone wrong did. Everything about this hotel was unpleasant and substandard. I will never stay here again and I would not recommend it to others.
Ok

The room was a good size but smelt of mould, soon as we turned the AC off the smell went. The shower handle had fallen off and every time you pulled the toilet roll it fell off the wall.
It just needs updating, in the UK this would be a 3 star hotel not a 4 star. The staff were very friendly and most helpful.
