If you’re from a town or city that has homes with white picket fences & flowers in the yard, you’ll be in for a culture shock! If you take the subway, you’ll have to walk past a pot shop where many of their clients just hang out in the streets. There seems to be a housing project closeby & some of the tenants pull out chairs to just hang out all day.
Once inside the hotel, it seems ok. The hotel itself isn’t anything special. It fills the need. The only time anyone spoke to us from the front desk was when we checked in the 1st day & out the last. All of the other days, they just glanced at us going in &;out daily.
Our room didn’t have a safe & was in need of a few hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom.the kitchen was equipped with the very bare basics, which were enough. The morning free breakfast was pretty standard, but a nice option to get if you wanted.
Our room faced the street & there were nights where we could hear loud people or music in the middle of the night, and we were on the 8th floor. Our room & the hotel seemed to be clean & decent enough, but honestly, nothing special enough to bring me back.
