The hotel

The Roxy Hotel Tribeca is located on the border of SoHo and TriBeCa, two of downtown’s most affluent residential neighbourhoods, where cobblestone streets and historic cast iron buildings give way to the most exclusive boutiques, restaurants, and galleries. The Hotel’s triangular shape gives the property its inimitability, most evident in its interior’s soaring eight-story atrium. The expansive Church Lounge with low-lying furniture is an ideal place to lounge, meet, or work by day and the perfect place for cocktails with friends at night, and nightly shows at the Django cellar club, as well as the art deco cinema, are sure to keep you entertained.

Incredible customer experience by Zillah who made us feel very special as we celebrated our combined birthdays and recent engagement. From the moment we checked in, the two of us and our pup were made to feel welcomed and celebrated with drink vouchers and handwritten notes upon arrival which made our stay exceptional!

I haven't yet stayed at the Roxy. However, I have a reservation to stay for a week starting this Thursday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I am also traveling with my pet. I have sent several emails to the only contact address that I can find to make sure they confirm my pet's stay as well as to get some assistance to planning something for my adult daughter to celebrate. I cannot even get someone to confirm that they know I'm traveling with a pet (which their website advises to do so they can make sure I'm in a pet-friendly room/suite). We are so looking forward to this stay at the Roxy but it certainly is not starting out well. Read less

I came in town and stopped at the Roxy’s bar. Chef Abraham and Leo did my dish request the exact way I wanted it. Ask for them when you’re in town. Never a disappointment when I stay at this hotel. The ambience and food is great. Make sure you stop by

We had a four-night stay at The Roxy in April. From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Upon arrival, we were met by very courteous reception staff, who carried out a swift and trouble-free check-in. Our bags were then taken to our room, and we were shown where everything was to make a most memorable stay. Our bedroom and bathroom were a good size and had plentiful supplies. Our stay in New York was after 3 weeks in Costa Rica, where we had travelled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels (including 4* and 5* establishments). The Roxy was definitely the most comfortable! There is obviously a big push from the housekeeping staff to keep the rooms in tip-top shape during your stay. Clean towels every day and little touches with additional items they think you might need (e.g. shaving foam tubes, shower caps, extra soap etc.). When I mentioned to one member of staff that I like peppermint tea, a kettle and tea bags were delivered to our room within an hour – without me asking. A coffee machine with a selection of coffee is already in the room. We were introduced to Jacqueline, who absolutely went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. She really is an asset to this hotel. This was our first time in New York, and therefore The Roxy. We were very pleased to see that it is situated in a quieter part of the city, but still within walking distance of the 911 Ground Zero Museum and the One World Trade Centre. There is a subway station across the road, with good links around the city. We ate breakfast here. There was plenty of choice, very good-sized portions and the quality was excellent. A special mention must go to Leo, who was so kind, friendly and attentive. Because we met up with friends each day, we did not have an evening meal here. The cocktails and mocktails were extremely good though! They have a resident jazz band. It was lovely to sit and listen to it whilst enjoying a drink in the evening. We would highly recommend The Roxy and look forward to being able to stay here again when we next visit the city. Read less
