“BEst hotel in the city”

This hotel is the best I have stayed in while in NYC. I have been here before and will return. I have no clue how anyone would rate this below a 5 star. The front desk people like Laura, and others are superb. Cleaning of my room was done by Kat and was emaculate. It is unquestionably the best deal for the money. Robert Simon,M.D.

Awful housekeeping services. Twice in a row, we had to chase them to do our rooms. The house keeping company they hire visits the hotel for a short period and have some rude staff members.

Sent a message a few hours prior to check in to see if we were able to keep our bags at the hotel while we wait for our room to be ready… no response. Show up around 1:30 to drop off our bags and they let us know that our room will be ready by at the latest 4. So, we come back around 3:20-3:30. Room not ready. Someone else was trying to do “early check in” (which was extra pay) but didn’t even get a room key until 3:45. Once they got a room, they went in and the hotel was using it to store other guests luggage . Seriously???? It is now 4:10 and the front desk guy said the room is not ready he would tell housekeeping to “put a pep in their step”, which should’ve happened hours ago when we dropped off our bags and were guaranteed a check in by the latest at 4:00. People piling up in the lobby waiting for their rooms to be ready. No accommodations, no accountability. Completely unexpected and unacceptable. The most unprofessional and very unorganized service and hotel I’ve ever been to. Do not book at this hotel.
