Room and decor a little dated. Smaller room / kitchenette than in all the promo material so not easy for 2 adults and 2 teens. Couldn’t open bathroom door fully. Power issues. Had to report broken wardrobe and clogged drain on arrival. Advertised as B&B but breakfast is in a cafe next door and is not fully included, given tokens worth $9 per day… Read more

Had to report broken wardrobe and clogged drain on arrival. Advertised as B&B but breakfast is in a cafe next door and is not fully included, given tokens worth $9 per day each but almost nothing on menu is this cheap. No lounge and bar wasn’t open. On the plus side, great location, not noisy and very comfortable beds. Read less

Second stay in a year. A lovely family and business hotel in the Upper West Side. Right next to the 72nd Street subway stop. The kitchenettes are extremely convenient. The rooms are well kept and large for Manhattan standards. Staff is great. Only complaints: the keurig coffeemaker produced a disgusting brew and, even if clean, the bathroom… Read more

Only complaints: the keurig coffeemaker produced a disgusting brew and, even if clean, the bathroom smelled of pee (my guess is that some of the floor tiles, over the years, had become irreparably soaked). Stayed here one night to see Jackson Browne at the nearby Beacon Theater. Room was a deluxe king on the 21st floor. I found it to be very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I hardly noticed any traffic noise and I am very noise sensitive. The reviews I read were not very favorable, so I was a bit skeptical. However, I was really happy with this… Read more

I hardly noticed any traffic noise and I am very noise sensitive. The reviews I read were not very favorable, so I was a bit skeptical. However, I was really happy with this choice. Front desk staff and luggage attendant were all very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were described in some reviews as being run down and in need of renovations. I do not agree. Granted, I saw some ares that needed a bit of paint, or a tile replaced, but that did not bother me at all. I would definitely stay here again, especially if I was going to the theater. The surrounding area was very nice too with many options for food and drink. Read less
