Sitting right on top of Pier 67, this is Seattle's original waterfront hotel and quite the local landmark. It’s always been a quirky and cool spot, since it was built in 1962 — KISS parked their platform boots here and The Beatles once famously fished out of their hotel room window. We don’t recommend that, of course, but you can imagine the playful and chilled vibe that you get at the the Edgewater. Expect quirky, cosy rooms with beautiful views of Elliott Bay, happy hours showcasing amazing house concoctions, and a restaurant serving the freshest organic and local dishes. Take in a bit of live music at the weekend and dine outdoors to make the most of those water views.

“Excellent Accommodation”

I selected The Edgewater because of its convenient location to the cruise terminals, but the location over the water was spectacular. It was also close to Pike Street Market and other interesting Seattle sights. I arranged for the hotel to pick me up from the airport and take me to the cruise terminal. The staff was so helpful from storing my luggage, letting me check in early to bringing an extra bed to my suite to accommodate extra family members. The bed was very comfortable, and my suite was spacious. I will definitely stay here again when in Seattle.

What a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were really helpful. They upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary which was so kind of them (especially for people who had never stayed at the hotel before). The view of the sound was beautiful. Easy walking distance to Pike Place and downtown. Room was super clean, loved the gas fireplace and big bathtub. Will absolutely stay again!
