A proper hotel in an excellent location. Take the new $2 light rail to/from the airport and you are a 3 minute walk from the hotel (albeit uphill) when you arrive in the city. You can tell that the hotel is high quality with ‘proper’ well appointed rooms and a really solid quality feel. Only niggle is in your room you are provided a miniscule… Read more

You can tell that the hotel is high quality with ‘proper’ well appointed rooms and a really solid quality feel. Only niggle is in your room you are provided a miniscule 200ml box of water each day (that really doesn’t go far between 2 people and just looks cheap!) Read less

When we arrived at the front desk we were greeted by a wonderful smiling face and great personality , CAROLYN Crawford had the best welcome I ever had, thank you. The room was clean, beautiful and spacious. The coffee shop at the 4th street is a nice place to relax and enjoy the breakfast.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable trip. The hotel can best be described as "grand". It has a beautiful lobby/check-in/bar area that is elegant and reminds you of a by-gone era. I was in a Jr. Suite and it was lovely. The bed and linens were exquisite. It had a huge bathroom and spacious living area as well. I also ate at the bar twice and it was delicious. Ordered room service as well twice and it was prompt and arrived hot. The hotel is also in an excellent location. I took a tour that met at the Seattle Library which was just one block away. The hotel is also near a huge Target if you need anything during your stay and there are numerous restaurants nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable, upscale place to stay in Seattle! Read less

Horrible experience checking in post cruise. Front desk staff was misleading and condescending and required management involvement to get a room. Once situated , the room which was described as a complimentary upgrade, had obvious shortcomings and appeared to not be regularly used. Stains were noted on the walls in the bathroom and after 48 hrs the room was not cleaned nor were towels replenished. Had to get towels and toilet paper from a cart in hallway on my own. Coffee in the lobby was taken away at 7 am in the coffee capital of the USA. Very disappointing for a “luxury hotel” and crossing Fairmont off my list in the future Read less
