“Nothing Grand plenty bland.”

There is nothing Grand about this Grand Hyatt . They have no restaurant they don’t offer breakfast any enquiries for food and you’re told to try Ruth Steakhouse for breakfast or lunch . Alternative is a bar with a disgruntled bar tender with very limited food or Room service that charges 20% service plus taxes plus $5 delivery to room plus taxes . Ordered sandwich and it tasted as if it was stored for a week. Terrible. At check in was offered a glass of bubbly complementary as I don’t drink alcohol asked for bottle of water instead only to be told none was available at check in. A huge put off is the $68 for parking ,crazy specially when you have a massive car park across st for overnight $32 . There are many alternative Hyatts within walking distance and my choice will be alternative next time . Hyatt brand labelling this property Grand falls short and must be challenged by ‘Trade description act’ Hotel was clean as was our room , employees friendly .

The Grand Hyatt is a great location downtown Seattle. Rooms are super clean and well appointed with pressed bed linens and very comfortable beds. Ruth Chris steakhouse is on the same property so it is a great place to dine. I found the staff to be friendly, customer focused and very helpful, I do not like using the AI bot who answers the hotel phone or customer service line. I found the AI to be time-consuming and not always effective in getting connected to the correct extension. Valet parking is pricey at 68/night, but a trade-off for the great location. When visiting downtown Seattle, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would book for any of my future stays.

The Grand Hyatt has a great location, near downtown stores & Pike Place market. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and a good value. Valet parking is $68 but it’s a trade-off for the great location. I found the staff to be customer focused and it’s wonderful that the Ruth Chris steakhouse is on the property. I would definitely recommend and would stay at this property on future downtown Seattle stays.
