I was told for Guest safety you HAD to use room key to get to floors 2 - 8 THAT'S NOT TRUE anyone can get to those floors. I was also told that the front doors lock at 8PM for guest safety, returned from dinner after 9PM walk right through the front door. I WAS NOT told there was a Parking fee when I checked in.

The suite set-up Hyatt House offers with 2 queen beds with a living space with sectional that converts to a bed is fabulous for our family of 5. Very nice hotel, clean and conveniently located across the street from the Space Needle. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very busy with a large group tour and other guests getting ready to go on a cruise. And the front desk staff was courteous and helpful despite the busyness. Breakfast was good with eggs, fruit, toast, waffles, bacon, oatmeal, juice and coffee. Starting in May until Sept or Oct, there’s a free shuttle that stops across the street from the hotel. It runs every 15 mins and goes to the waterfront (great for cruise ship passengers), with a stop that’s not far from the Pike Place Market, to Pioneer Square and the stadiums then loops back to the Space Needle. Super handy to get into town and not need a car or pay for parking. Read less

We traveled to Seattle for an Alaskan cruise a day early and the Hyatt House was in a great location; we had a great view of the Space Needle and everything was within walking distance. The staff was amazing especially the older lady in the breakfast room. The rooms could not have better, very well appointed and spacious.

Don’t go here! Worst place to possibly go. If only I would have known better, I’d have picked somewhere else!!! Broken elevators every single day!! The one working one always took 10-15 min just to make it to you no matter what and you shared it with their maintenance staff. Don’t go here! Worst place to possibly go. If only I would have known better, I’d have picked somewhere else!!! Broken elevators every single day!! The one working one always took 10-15 min just to make it to you no matter what and you shared it with their maintenance staff. Which normally would be ok however if 15 people were waiting for the elevator and there was maintenance staff they push their carts in taking up valuable space making people wait another 15 min. Parking is not good. They store furniture and other things in parking spots!! Which I had to move myself just to park. I hurt my back and my left arm doing so. Avoid their Hotels!! Especially this one next to the Space Needle in Seattle!!! Read less
