Sitting right on top of Pier 67, this is Seattle's original waterfront hotel and quite the local landmark. It’s always been a quirky and cool spot, since it was built in 1962 — KISS parked their platform boots here and The Beatles once famously fished out of their hotel room window. We don’t recommend that, of course, but you can imagine the playful and chilled vibe that you get at the the Edgewater. Expect quirky, cosy rooms with beautiful views of Elliott Bay, happy hours showcasing amazing house concoctions, and a restaurant serving the freshest organic and local dishes. Take in a bit of live music at the weekend and dine outdoors to make the most of those water views.

It was such a comfortable distance to walk about the city with my child and return to a comfortable room with such lovely and welcoming staff. The housekeepers were so helpful and kind as I was running around with my infant and always offered to hold the door or take away things for me. It felt like I was going home each night- rather than a hotel. Also, the rooms seemed very well sound proofed, I didn’t hear much even with the weekend nights being busy.

I just wanted to shout out Ryan for a speedy and smooth check-in, plus giving me the gift of a room (138) with the most incredible view. Room service was fast and friendly. Conference space on the 4th floor had the best view of any conference room I've seen. Furniture and finishes were modern and well-maintained. Lovely lobby, cafe and dining.…

I enjoyed the fun atmosphere of the Edgewater with families, couples and singles like myself coming and going. The lounge area was fun and the staff appear to enjoy their work. My room was comfy and nicely decorated. I will be back.

Very comfortable bed, great views of Puget Sound. The bar meals were good value and we had a window seat over looking the water, great ambience.
