Hotel is beautiful it has a Chinese vibe. The front desk clerks were jerks the first two nights. October 3rd and 5th. The house cleaners haven't been in at all for 3 nights.

We were booked into the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Portland by our travel agent as we had gone in to book a holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. All we knew was that we wanted to visit four areas of the West Coast. We had absolutely no idea where to stay, but, boy, were we delighted with the choice. As soon as we pulled up outside we were blown away by the beauty and appearance and the inside did not disappoint either. Our room is just beautiful with gorgeous furniture and fittings and so spacious. The staff are super helpful, and the jazz pianist, Julian, was so friendly. Thank you, Royal Sonesta, we will definitely be returning 😍
