Check in went very smoothly and the staff were very helpful. We were given vouchers (for each night we stayed) for the breakfast buffet in the Austin Taco Project restaurant inside the hotel. We were very impressed with the breakfast selection here and the two nights we were there, we noticed that they made some changes to some of the items they served. We enjoyed that because a lot of hotel buffets serve the same old thing. The food was pretty tasty and they made sure the serving dishes were stocked with plenty of food so you didn't have to wait for more to come out. The waiter/waitress made sure our coffees and sodas were refilled. The lobby had plenty of areas to sit down if you needed to wait for anyone. There was always someone at the front desk, the Concierge's desk and outside for Valet parking. Everyone was very personable and willing to answer any questions we had. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the air temperature was perfect. The shower pressure and water temperature were perfect. One negative, but it's not a big negative, is the two bottles of water in the room were not free. I think water in a hotel room should be free of charge...kind of like the chocolate on your pillow. It's not a deal breaker because the food vouchers for the breakfast buffet totally was worth more than a bottle of water. Its a great hotel to stay at if you are in Austin. Read less

Maurillo was excellent. The entire staff were great and it was a very nice hotel. The pool area and rooms where very clean.

Fabulous trip! There was a slight issue with our reservation but when we arrived the staff took care to make things go as smoothly as possible. Our bellman, Clifton Woods, was particularly helpful, friendly and proactive in getting a few things handled so we felt completely welcomed and were off to our event right on time. Thanks for everything!

Clifton Woods the bellman was super sweet to the kids, and helped with our luggage, which was quite a lot for such a short stay. A lot of other staff also helped us out a lot but he really stood out. We stay at the Hilton pretty frequently and will definitely be back!

Best hotel in downtown Austin because of the staff. A huge Texas size thank you to Clinton at the bell stand for making each trip memorable and going the extra mile to help us juggle deadlines and to dos. Everyone here, including Heather at the front desk, truly cares about their guests.
