I spent 3.5 weeks at this hotel for business over the past couple of months so I feel like I can give an honest review. I travel the country for work and this is by far my favorite place to stay. The staff is wonderful, it’s clean and updated and I dream about the bed it’s so comfortable. I always ask for the highest room possible west facing for immaculate sunset views with a window seat bench. The room has lots of drawers and space for longer stays. Room service was fast and good quality and best of all for someone who has been working all day and doesn’t want to go anywhere, the mall is attached with high end and boutique stores, an ice rink and restaurants. There is a Starbucks and a Corner bakery for coffee just off the elevator on the 2nd floor. My only complaints are there is no microwave, you can’t call the front desk directly and even 14 floors up the interstate is still pretty loud. Dallas is not my favorite city but I personally look forward to staying here! Read less

Great hotel with convenient access to the Galleria Mall and surrounding locations. Cost is what you would expect for a Westin and the service by the staff is above expectation. Also surprising was the small size of the television compared to the room. Members lounge was small and not well stocked with drinks or food. Read less

The hotel is good and it is in a great location. One of the highlights is the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Some lows were the elevators were extremely slow, and the hotel seems to look a bit run down, especially its carpets. The entire hotel has the feel that it once was very elegant, but it's definitely getting older.

Had a medical convention to attend here. Hotel is under construction but charged full rates despite jack hammer level noises. Elevators are scary- doors sound like they are barely working, lights burned out. Housekeeping is erratic and intrusive / apathetic. Elevators are scary- doors sound like they are barely working, lights burned out. Housekeeping is erratic and intrusive / apathetic. The lounge “ladies” are very nice but manager Leo is either told to be a shrill or is just in the wrong business. If you want a relaxing stay, I would avoid because you’re paying full price for the low low value of jack hammer sounds in the morning, topped off with apathy. The attached mall is convenient if you want to roam around a mediocre mall for your “vacation”. Adjacent restaurants are also Mediocre- the Oceanaire isn’t bad but seems to attract the drunk loud princess type that is the opposite of the reprieve you’ll need after the jack hammers are done for the day. And don’t complain to Leo- he really isn’t interested. Read less

We stayed at the Westin Galleria in the Corner Club Suite is a $600plus per night room. Absolutely noting special. The lounge part of teh suite had one of those bench type lounge suites, like you get in a $100/night motel. No tele in the lounge room. The whole hotel has the feel of a 1980's building with the decor etc. Th eClub lounge was basic,… Read more
