We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston. It was a busy weekend with multiple parade’s and 2 Beyoncé concerts. We were told to anticipate a 15 minute wait to retrieve our vehicles from valet but when I called down to request our car we waited less than 5 minutes! Was in town for the Cowboy Cater tour. Nice location downtown. Friendly staff. Good amenities. CJ and Reda with parking services were helpful.

Let me start off with the good, the hotel was texting me info days before we got with info and suggestions. It was my hubby and I anniversary! They were gracious and left us and a bottle of champagne in our room and on the actual day 6/20 Adrian gifted us the breakfast buffet , downstairs and it was delicious and the severs were amazing! Santos the server was amazing and the lady at the omelette station made the best omelette ever! The valet team was exceptional Yahya! Was always quick, efficient and very helpful! The black older gentleman at night was nice as well . We appreciated the valets hard work. The parking lot was jammed packed for different events all wkend long. And they handled it extremely well. Now the not so good stuff. For me the hotel is dated, the room was clean and kinda modern but the lamp shades had stains on them , the bathroom needs a reno. The pool is small, a lil dirty with a few fly bugs and they were broken tiles around the edge of the pool. The pool lounge chairs need to be changed. Sometimes the elevators took a long time to arrive to our floor. Overall it was a good stay. Thanks to Adrian and Camden for making my stay a pleasant one. Read less

It's too bad that in the bathroom there's only one outlet for showering and no other way. There's no bidet or anything to replace it. They charged me for expenses I didn't make, no reply or credit so far and the impossibility of checking out. Too bad
