There’s also a 24/7 gallery menu so don’t worry about hunger striking at an awkward time, plus a coffee to cocktails bar, which sounds just about perfect to us! For gourmet or more formal dining, you’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of options in the immediate vicinity, including El Mercado, a traditional Mexican market boasting food and craft vendors as well as some pretty lively entertainment.

I have stayed at Hyatt Place Riverwalk twice and would recommend it for anyone in town for an event at the convention center. It is a reasonably priced option just a 10 minute walk from the convention center. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is about average for a hotel breakfast. They don’t have a waffle iron but the coffee isn’t bad. The bathroom is tiny but it has a real door that closes. I avoid hotels with barn doors on the bathrooms as they usually don’t close properly. That’s not an issue here. However, the showers are poorly designed and guaranteed to get the bathroom floor wet. When I was eating breakfast I heard people at all the tables around me joking about how much water ended up on the bathroom floor when they showered. So I know it wasn’t just my room. Overall, this hotel is a good value if you’re just looking for a nice place to sleep at a reasonable price. Be warned that they charge for parking.
