My second visit to this hotel. Arrived very early due to my Amtrak arrival in San Antonio. The front desk team did all they could do to get me in a cleaned room asap. Meanwhile, I did a load of laundry in a room meant for guests. The dryer took forever, and one has to download an app in order to make the machines work, but I was thankful for the chance to catch up with laundry. (I'd been on the road for a while.) Breakfast was typical of Hyatt Places throughout the U.S. I appreciated the blueberry compote, and the green salsa that I added to my breakfast sandwich. My one suggestion is to keep the tea better stocked. When the hotel ran out of a tea, they put in a box of Earl Grey. There were three by the time I left. No green, no English Breakfast. Simple to keep a box of each Tazo Tea for customers.
I used the gym three times while I was there. It is small, but will do in a pinch. It's also rarely used, so I always had it to myself.
My room was kept fresh and clean by housekeeping, and the elevator and hallway floors were kept very clean compared to the hotel I just stayed in in Tucson.
Most importantly, my room was quiet, and I enjoyed good sleep while I was visiting. Staff were professional and friendly, and if I come back into town again, I will stay at this Hyatt Place. Overall, a solid stay.

If you don’t mind a tiny bathroom with a roar that cannot be turned off, excessively expensive parking fee for self-parking in front of the hotel, and a roaring air- conditioning unit, this is the place for you!
