“Hidden Hyatt Treasure in San Antonio”

I've stayed at several Hyatt locations in San Antonio and think this location may be one of the most underrated in terms of location and amenities. It is literally on the Riverwalk with prime access (ramp) and only 5-10 minutes from the downtown Riverwalk loop. There is a fee for parking, but the lot is gated. The staff here were very accommodating and friendly (I requested - and was granted - a late checkout). I had a ground floor room on this stay and it was quiet (no microwaves on ground floor, though). And did I mention the friendly staff?
Breakfast is good (free) but could benefit from a revised layout (ex., entry -> utensils -> plates -> cooked food -> chilled food/fruit -> drinks -> coffee).
The Hyatt Place rooms are well organized and this one is no exception. Plenty of lighting where needed and a comfortable bed.
If you happen to be a cyclist, this is a prime location for access along the Riverwalk and Mission Trail. Salado Creek Greenway has several trailheads within five miles (east) of the hotel.

This hotel was better than expected for the price. Very clean, staff at check in and at breakfast buffet extremely nice! Only issue was trying to find the hotel using our navigation.
