Be careful of double charge

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel regarding billing and customer service. We booked our room through a travel agency and prepaid in full before my stay. After checking out, I discovered that the hotel had also charged my credit card for the same night, resulting in a double charge. When I called the hotel, a staff member confirmed that it was a duplicate charge and told me that only a manager could process the refund. I was asked to call back the next day. When I followed up, another staff member told me to request the refund from my travel agency instead. After insisting to speak with a manager, I was told the manager was unavailable. I left my number, but no one ever called me back. Weeks have gone by, I have called multiple times, and I still have not received my refund. This has been extremely frustrating. Not only was I double charged, but the lack of accountability and customer service from management is unacceptable. A simple billing error should not take weeks and multiple calls with no resolution. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both their billing process and responsiveness to guests. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Average Stay

It’s an average hotel. My room was ok. Clean. The desk was all chipped up and could use repair or replaced. There’s not ice on every floor, so I had to get on elevator for it. No microwave in my room. That’s kinda annoying. Breakfast if just barely edible for me. It’s your typical crumbly eggs and there were potatoes and ham. Then a selection of…

No microwave in my room. That’s kinda annoying. Breakfast if just barely edible for me. It’s your typical crumbly eggs and there were potatoes and ham. Then a selection of breads, muffins and cereals. I didn’t see any fresh fruit. I picked this place due to proximity to a concert I’m attending. I get annoyed when you go to the front desk with a question and the person working has to finish their texting before answering me. Other than that it was an avg stay. I’d probably stay at a higher tier place next time I’m in town.

Very affordable and close to everything. We loved the clean room, hotel amenities and free breakfast. The rooms are well stocked with coffee and tea.
Overall a good stay, but breakfast wasn’t.

Overall, my stay was what I expected from the Hyatt brand. It’s why I choose to stay at their properties. Check in was fast and courteous, my room was quiet, clean and comfortable. And check out was also fast and friendly.
My score is only 4 “stars” because of the breakfast experience. Usually, there is plenty of product available, and if not, it is replenished quickly. Not the case this time. Apparently the large crowd overwhelmed the kitchen staff and there were only a stack of cold waffles, a few sausages, 1/8 of a pitcher of OJ, and very little else. Hopefully this was an anomaly and their breakfast service is usually much better.
