Getting Around
The primary way to get around inside Zion National Park and Springdale is the Zion National Park Shuttle system. It operates within the park, making stops at nine scenic locations, including popular spots like the Temple of Sinawava, the Angels Landing trailhead, and Zion Lodge. The shuttle begins at the Zion Visitor Centre, located just a 3–5 minute walk from Cable Mountain Lodge, making it incredibly convenient for guests. Running from March through late November, the shuttle arrives approximately every 10–15 minutes during peak hours.

Cable Mountain Lodge doesn’t have a traditional sit-down restaurant, bar, or room service inside the lodge itself. But the great news is, there are plenty of dining options just a quick 1 to 3-minute walk away. You can easily grab food and drinks nearby and bring them back to your room or patio to enjoy at your own pace.

“Worst night stay in 50 years”

I have never left a review for a business in my life. I travel a lot and have to say I had the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel. The room above us was noisy from the poorly built hotel and this started at 6:30am. I called the front desk to let them know and nothing was done about it, and not only was nothing done but then the cleaners came in at 9am banging everything. We went to the front desk and spoke to the manager who was an older lady, whose reply was there was nothing she could do about it. I would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here to find a different hotel.

Our family stayed here for four nights over Thanksgiving week, and it turned out to be the best decision. The location couldn’t be more convenient. We saved so much time by avoiding the long lines for parking at the park. And we didn’t have to rely on the Springdale shuttle transferring to the park shuttle like we would have if we’d stayed elsewhere in town. Everything was within walking distance—the park entrance, the shuttle stop, gear rental shop for The Narrows, a supermarket, and the restaurants. The view from our suite was incredible; it felt like we were already inside the park. Highly recommended!
