Getting Around

The primary way to get around inside Zion National Park and Springdale is the Zion National Park Shuttle system. It operates within the park, making stops at nine scenic locations, including popular spots like the Temple of Sinawava, the Angels Landing trailhead, and Zion Lodge. The shuttle begins at the Zion Visitor Centre, located just a 3–5 minute walk from Cable Mountain Lodge, making it incredibly convenient for guests. Running from March through late November, the shuttle arrives approximately every 10–15 minutes during peak hours.

Cable Mountain Lodge doesn’t have a traditional sit-down restaurant, bar, or room service inside the lodge itself. But the great news is, there are plenty of dining options just a quick 1 to 3-minute walk away. You can easily grab food and drinks nearby and bring them back to your room or patio to enjoy at your own pace.

“Great place, can't beat the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff”

You can't beat the location and the friendliness of the reception staff. Everything was clean, the parking easy, and it was so easy to get outfitted and into the Park I still can't believe it! They have a discount with the other businesses on the property--don't forget your room card to get it. Our room, really a full apartment, with outfitted kitchen, living room and dining areas was comfortable and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. We did wish for a nightlight in the bathroom, one of the few misses in the space. The staff was very responsive to our letting them know about the Halloween-esque squeak of the bathroom door--they fixed it immediately. We hope they were able to fix the plumbing problem that we discovered upon our first use of the toilet. We look forward to returning, although if possible, we'd choose to stay in the room above ours, since the floor was a bit thin.

The bed was mushy. The pillow was huge. If you like sleeping at a 60 degree angle with a bright light shining from the microwave and a banging noise all night long, this is the hotel for you. 3/4 of the outlets did not work, including the ones near the bed and those in the bathroom. They advertise EV chargers, and the two Tesla chargers did work, but the one for all other EVs did not. There are no commercial charging stations nearby. Charge fully before you arrive!

Very close to park entrance and restaurants. Convenience always helps. Views spectacular. The property itself was beautiful and very relaxing. Would highly recommend.
