Getting Around
The primary way to get around inside Zion National Park and Springdale is the Zion National Park Shuttle system. It operates within the park, making stops at nine scenic locations, including popular spots like the Temple of Sinawava, the Angels Landing trailhead, and Zion Lodge. The shuttle begins at the Zion Visitor Centre, located just a 3–5 minute walk from Cable Mountain Lodge, making it incredibly convenient for guests. Running from March through late November, the shuttle arrives approximately every 10–15 minutes during peak hours.

Cable Mountain Lodge doesn’t have a traditional sit-down restaurant, bar, or room service inside the lodge itself. But the great news is, there are plenty of dining options just a quick 1 to 3-minute walk away. You can easily grab food and drinks nearby and bring them back to your room or patio to enjoy at your own pace.

“Best Place to Stay in Zion!”

Super impressed with this hotel! Start with the BEST location - just walk across the bridge into the park and park shuttle - closer than any other hotel! Next door is a well-stocked market (with a 20% discount to soften the prices), and Zion Outfitter that will get you hooked up for the Narrows (10% discount). A few restaurants within walking distance. We didn’t need to use our car once!
We had a Canyon View Suite and, yes, what a canyon view! The deck was huge (but could use more than two chairs - a whole table and a couple lounge chairs would fit!). The room itself was very well decorated and quite spacious! Kitchen was mostly well-stocked with a full-sized fridge and 2-burner stove allowing us to make breakfast a couple days.
Our second floor common area was beautiful and even the laundry room had a view! Pool was a basic rectangle with hot tub - nice place to cool off also with great views & well-stocked with towels.
Housekeeping was daily (yes!) and they were impeccable! Kudos to the housekeeping staff.
Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property in the absolute best location for for both entering the park by foot or bike, and also for catching the shuttle into town if needed. The cleanliness and coziness of the rooms, along with the amenities on site and amazing customer service made this lodge an exceptional choice for our vacation to Zion. Would 12/10 recommend!
“Perfect Location and Amenities”

We were going to stay in Kanab or St. George but got worried about all the driving. We are so glad we opted for Cable Mountain Lodge instead. The location was amazing. After a very hot day in the park, it was awesome to have a very short drive and quickly hop in the pool. The view cannot be beat. The 1 bedroom wall bed suite was perfect for our family of 5 and was spotlessly clean. We picked up food at the convenience store there and grilled on the available grills. The kids played near the stream and my son and I walked back to the park to stargaze after dark. For us, this was a bit of a splurge but very worth it and a great way to end our trip!
