The hotel

This isn't your average fly and flop holiday - this is a proper adventure. A place where you can disconnect from every day life, put your phone away, and enjoy plenty of fresh air, nature, and activities. The rooms are rustic and low-key, which is perfect to get that real woodland feel, and with the calendar of events on offer you'll never be bored. From outdoor art classes to horseriding and twilight hiking this is a trip you will never forget, and you'll discover loads along the way. Back at the lodge there is plenty of food and drink options to refuel at the end of a busy day, and you're really not far from the hustle and bustle of Washington DC if you fancy a day in the city. Or you could combine this with a city break for a bit of both ends of the spectrum!
