Housed in a converted early 1900's church, this is definitely a cool and quirky option when it comes to Washington hotels. The Adam Morgans neighbourhood is known for being a 24-hour 'hood' if you like - but as it's developed over the years the restaurants, bars and shops have become seriously cool, so it's perfect for weekend breaks for couples and friends alike. Your rooms is made to feel like a home from home. with bespoke furniture and unique artwork that keeps each room different, and will give you that warm-fuzzy feeling (don't worry - there is aircon for those summer trips!). No Goodbyes is the all day hangout thats on hand to cure those cravings, from coffee to cocktails, and brunch to late night bites. There's even a record player and a huge vinyl collection on hand for you to pick your own soundtrack.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. What was a magical weekend for all of us was only enhanced by the professional and caring staff at The Line Hotel. Special shout out to the valet service and Kecha, Tecle, and Tamerat for always greeting us with a smile and for their hard work. And a huge thank you to Derek and the front office manager, Poncedar Johnson, who went above and beyond. Read less

I was a little worried when booking this hotel because of some negative reviews, but we all loved it! The public spaces all have a nice vibe, and the rooms were perfect. The hallways outside the rooms did not have AC, so if you care about that, this place may not be for you. But it didn’t bother us at all! Nice, friendly staff and everything we… Read more

We just stayed at The Line DC again this week and had another great experience. This time, we were upgraded to a Monument room, which came with a much better view — definitely a nice touch. Derrick, once again, was an absolute standout. We honestly feel lucky to have been there during one of his shifts. He’s knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely kind — the kind of person who makes a stay feel extra special. He’s truly a noteworthy part of the hotel team, and we love seeing him when we’re there. Everything else was consistent with our past visit: the rooms are bright and comfortable, the location in Adams Morgan is full of charm, and it’s a great spot if you’re traveling with dogs. Valet is still quick, and while some service areas could be sharper, the overall experience is solid — and with people like Derrick on staff, it makes you want to come back. Still one of our favorite pet-friendly hotels in DC. Read less

Really nice design & aesthetic…. The staff was very engaging. All around a great stay. Also, the rooftop and watching the 4th fireworks was a highlight!!!
