Housed in a converted early 1900's church, this is definitely a cool and quirky option when it comes to Washington hotels. The Adam Morgans neighbourhood is known for being a 24-hour 'hood' if you like - but as it's developed over the years the restaurants, bars and shops have become seriously cool, so it's perfect for weekend breaks for couples and friends alike. Your rooms is made to feel like a home from home. with bespoke furniture and unique artwork that keeps each room different, and will give you that warm-fuzzy feeling (don't worry - there is aircon for those summer trips!). No Goodbyes is the all day hangout thats on hand to cure those cravings, from coffee to cocktails, and brunch to late night bites. There's even a record player and a huge vinyl collection on hand for you to pick your own soundtrack.

The absurd volume from the club across the street made it impossible to sleep. Do not stay here. The staff was unhelpful

The room was ruined because there is an insanely loud club that makes it impossible to sleep at 2 a.m. Never stay here, it is impossible to sleep. Staff is also unhelpful.

I had a great visit at the line! The staff were friendly and greeted us with homemade cookies. I can’t remember the hosts name but she was very sweet and helpful. The rooms were clean! The furniture goes with the vibe of the hotel but it’s fine. The cafe was nice to go to in the mornings to grab coffee and bite to eat before heading out(food was just ok but coffee was good). I also visited the hotel bar and the bartenders were nice—and drinks were strong! Valet staff Kecha Burralco was very nice and kind! He was prompt getting our car. Overall a great experience and when we come back we will definitely stay there again!

Coffee shop at the Line

We love the Line! My family lives in the neighborhood and the members of the Line staff feel like family. DJ and Kenny recently went above and beyond to make our new family member feel welcome. We continue to make weekly visits to the Line for the great food and amazing service.
My new go to hotel for DC!

The hotel is great, except rooms, comfy bed, very good restaurant, attentive staff for any price especially in the DC area. It is exception for the price price point. Highly recommend, my new go to hotel for DC!
Comfy home base to explore DC

We moved to The Line after a conference at a larger hotel and I can't imagine staying at another hotel in DC again. Everyone (especially Donte, Melanie and Myra) was amazing! The rooms are stylish, clean, and comfy. The neighborhood is really fun - lots of great cafes and bars. Do yourself a favor and book your stay at The Line!
