“Location, Location, Location”
Aug 26, 2026Noe C
We spent one night here on our visit to Olympic National Park. We were in cabin 20. The cabin itself was pretty rustic, but the location cannot be beat!! We enjoyed the ocean views from the chairs at the top of the bluff. We did not dine on site, instead chose to have a charcuterie board picnic on the picnic bench outside the cabin.
Pro tip: call the reservation line to see which cabins have which beds. In my opinion, cabins 19, 20, 21 have the best location on property
“Do not stay here”
Aug 21, 2026vacationgrl2010
We stayed one night here while traveling through Olympic Natl Park and it was terrible. We have stayed at many park lodges and know what we are usually getting, but this was bad. Room 404 in the “lodge” is simply one room in a bldg of about 10 rooms near the cabins. Our whole family was disgusted by the wet, dirty smell. The bathroom was gross as well. The worst part was how loud the people above us were. You could hear every footstep, moving of luggage, and sound spoken all night long. We barely slept. When we checked out and reported this at 6am next day, the night manager said they always get complaints about this and “next time you should call ahead and request a different room.” The women at the desk both dissuaded us and others from going to Hoh Rainforest, saying you can wait 3 hours after 6am. Not to bother. We took our chance (since we didn’t sleep at all) and left early. We arrived at 7:10am to Hoh with no line and tons of parking. We were all glad we didn’t listen to them. I realize it’s a remote location but I would have absolutely preferred to have driven two hours back to a clean, quiet, comfortable lodging option. Please avoid this place.
“RATS and Lies - Never Stay Here”
Aug 11, 2026Gena S
RATS! The cabins here have rats, and when we complained (I saw the rat and its droppings with my own eyes) and asked to have our cabin deep cleaned, we were met with glaring looks from the porter and an unfinished cleaning job. He came back again and supposedly cleaned, but when we went to sleep that night our supposedly new clean beds were made up with dirty sheets filled with sand (see photos). We complained to management and were told there were no other rooms available on the property but they gave us meal vouchers for a dinner and breakfast. I tried to get at least a partial refund but the hotel retaliated against us by accusing us of causing damage to our room and leaving trash everywhere, which we absolutely did not do. I would never stay here again for any reason and urge everyone else not to as well. Aside from the other issues, the beds were horribly uncomfortable and springy. A complaint has been filed with the BBB.
