“fabulous staff, tired physical plant”

Staff at this resort was excellent. Every time. From room cleaners who were there just as we got back from an all day adventure, to the guy who came to reconnect our tv from the controls. Great staff. The physical plant is another matter. To consistently list this location as a 4 star space leaves out the fact that the physical plant is quite tired. Everything was just a little worn out. The spigot on the shower looked like it was about to fall off, the mattress was lumpy as all get out, and the air conditioner never really cooled anything (good thing it was only a little hot and humid when we were there, so we made do). It'as a fine place to stay, just be aware that the whole facility needs to have some money poured into it.

Tenaya is a perfect location to the South entrance to Yosemite Park, just 10 minutes away. The lodge is very clean and attractive. We ate at most of the restaurants on site and they were all very good. The Yosemite 360 bus tour that departs from the lodge was exceptional, a perfect way to see several of the major sites in Yosemite and made it easy for us to figure out what to visit on day 2. Plenty of self parking at the lodge made it very easy. Would definitely recommend this!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Its location outside of Yosemite (2 miles) was a great location. Everything about this lodge was fabulous. I can’t speak more highly on their customer service. Highly recommend TENAYA.🎉
