Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel

Mauritius, Indian Ocean

5 stars

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

From we checked in till we left this paradise on earth we felt like royals. This place is truly paradise. The staff is so warm, present and welcoming and the place is full of so good energy and hugs end luxury feeling. The food in all 4 restaurants is high end quality an the service level is the same. The massage / spa is heavenly with strong and good masseuses, lots of activities from cyclingtrips, waterspouts, yoga, sailing trips , pool, books, dart and the place is just so comfy and clean and nice. A very 'home-like' welcoming feeling all over. The rooms have a killer view and are just so beautifuland spacey. My best recommendation. I have been traveling all over the world and seen many many hotels - this stands out. Wauw!

Our fourth visit to this excellent hotel

We first visited this hotel back in 1995 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Decided to go again in 2022 for Xmas and found it was even better. Since then we've been back in Jan 2023 and Jan 2024. It really is Paradise! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with no noisy kids! The choice and standard of food is excellent. We hope to visit again soon!

My wife and I stayed here for the first stage of our honeymoon. could not recommend it any higher than what we do. From the moment we arrived the staff could not be more helpful, ensuring we were comfortable and hydrated before checking us in and then showing us to our room. The room had a fantastic view of the cove and of the mail part of the hotel. The hotel has a massive footprint so although it was at 95% capacity over new year, it often felt like you were the only people there through the day. Which was perfect for relaxing, reading books and drinking cocktails. The food at the hotel was second to none, not only the al a carte restaurants but the main dining area was fantastic as well. The hotel offered everything we wanted and more with a good gym facility and tennis courts for keeping active as well as offering day excursions through their Me&You options. My wife and I absolutely loved paradise cove, it's a beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff. 10/10 from us. We feel Michael who was part of the hotel staff deserves recognition for his attentiveness and friendliness very day we were there. He was a fantastic waiter and great fun as well, telling us stories about life on the island.

A week in paradise

We had a fantastic week at Paradise Cove. Everything was incredible and every attention to detail was considered - all of the staff were lovely but never overbearing, the food was delicious and to a very high standard. We were on half board and the extras (lunches and alcohol) were very reasonably priced (£8-15 for lunch/pp, drinks anywhere from £4-10) and mega portions. Loved the range of seating / lounging areas and how secluded they all were, it made the hotel feel much bigger than it was without ever feeling crowded. If you want the most chilled out, well-fed holiday in the sunshine, this is the best hotel bar none!
