“Total Relaxation”

My husband and I just returned from a brief (too short) visit to Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay to celebrate his birthday. This was our first visit to Jamaica and to a Sandals resort. I selected RC due to its proximity to the airport (less than 15 minutes drive) and its intimate size. We went with no real expectations and were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed ourselves. The Pros - We absolutely loved our room in the Sandringham Building with a soaking tub and view of the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. The proximity was close enough to everything yet far enough away to be peaceful. We could hear the music from the main pool from our balcony but it wasn’t a bother. There was a smaller pool located adjacent to our building and the gym was nearby too. The private island was just great! We loved both the Thai Restaurant and the Jerk Shack. We found a little cabana tucked beneath some trees where we took a nice nap following our lunch at the Jerk Shack. The dragon boat was a fun touch too! Overall, the food was good (not amazing but it was good). The staff was amazing! Everyone that we met was friendly and kind. We never waited long for drinks or food. Truly, the spoiled us. The Cons - we had a Club level room (no Butler). While this was not an issue for us at any point except that we could never get a beach chair until late in the afternoon. The butler guests had all of the beach chairs on the small beach reserved before we woke up! This was not a problem in that we improvised by going to a quiet pool near our building. This may have been better than the beach in hindsight. The only other con was that we only stayed for 4 nights. It took us two days to get acclimated and by day 3 we were feeling like we had the hang of things. The key is to learn how to personalize the resort experience to your own. We enjoyed this experience so much that we have booked our return trip for 2026! I am not sure if I can wait an entire year to return!!!

We just stayed in a luxury level suite at the sandals Royal Caribbean. This was our first time at this property and it was a great trip overall. The resort is small in comparison to the other sandals that we have stayed at, which we actually enjoyed the close proximity of everything. The staff here were great and the cleanliness of the property was very impressive. The shuttle to Montego Bay resort was also very useful and convenient to be able to go to the neighboring larger resort with such ease. I believe the shuttle ran every 30 minutes so you have access to all amenities at both properties during your stay. The food was great and the weather was delicious. The private island was nice to be able to go visit and do some relaxing and swimming while the nude beach area caught us as a surprise lol. Watch out for those signs !!! It was also amazing to be so close to the airport for once which is actually why we chose this resort due to a short 4 day trip so it was perfect. I would visit again for sure.

We had such an amazing experience. The staff, the room and the resort was top notch. Rosan took care of us so beautifully and was so thoughtful. We stayed in room 1217 which was kept so immaculate. We don’t want to go home! We can’t wait to come back

We stayed in the villas over the water and it was absolutely magical. Francois S. and Jen the butlers went above and beyond to make everyday special. Because of our incredible butlers and their hospitality we have already booked another trip for Feb 2026 in the same villa. Can’t recommend enough!
