Information for Virgin Atlantic Holidays Customers

IF YOU ARE DUE TO TRAVEL TO JAMAICA

Following Hurricane Melissa, we are currently assessing the situation in Jamaica to understand any impact or damage caused by the storm.

To prioritise the health and safety of our customers, we have made the decision to cancel all holidays up to and including the 4th November.

Our Customer Service Team is proactively contacting all affected customers to discuss their options and assist with alternative arrangements. If you are being contacted by our team, there’s no need to take any action — we’ll be in touch directly to support you.

We know that plans can change, so we’re offering extra flexibility for customers with original departures up to the 10th November.

With our flexible booking policy, you can make changes to your holiday without the usual admin fees, giving you the freedom to adjust your plans with ease.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Change your travel dates or destination - You can amend your booking, and we’ll waive any admin fees. If your new holiday costs more, you’ll just need to pay the difference.
  • Let us know before you travel - Please tell us about any changes before your departure date. If you don’t travel and haven’t contacted us, our standard no-show policy will apply in line with your fare rules.
  • Hotel charges - Any changes to your accommodation will be subject to the hotel’s terms and conditions. We’ll make sure you’re aware of any costs before confirming your amendments.

This is the quickest and easiest way to secure your room.  Keep hold of your receipts - you’ll be able to claim reimbursement from Virgin Atlantic Customer Care once you’re back home. You can submit your claim here.

It’s also important you also register as Away From Home so we can rebook you as a priority when flight operations resume.
