The bedroom was very spacious including a fridge and balcony. We think it was missing outside chairs. There is a good pool and gym on the 27th floor. A main restaurant and a buffet. We did have breakfast in the buffet which was satisfying. Would I recommend it, yes most definitely.

Transportation is located a five minute walk from the hotel as is the Eaton centre and a vast array of restaurants and food trucks to suit every budget. Check in was problem free when we arrived but we did see some long lines at other times but this is to be expected at such a large hotel and they have plenty of staff on hand to deal with these issues. Our room was spotlessly clean on check in and was thoroughly cleaned every day during our 6 night stay. There is building work going on but when the balcony door is closed we didn't hear anything too invasive, this is to be expected in a major city. All staff were friendly, pleasant and approachable.we would definitely stay in the Chelsea hotel again , we had an amazing trip .

Chelsea Hotel Stay in Downtown Toronto

I was greeted with a long line for check in. The foyer was warm while I was waiting. Just started with a lackluster feel. Then I was assigned a 4th floor room in an older section of the hotel. At least that's how it seemed. The room thankfully was clean but just a bit underwhelming. I had to leave the super loud A/C fan on to hide the other…

I was greeted with a long line for check in. The foyer was warm while I was waiting. Just started with a lackluster feel. Then I was assigned a 4th floor room in an older section of the hotel. At least that's how it seemed. The room thankfully was clean but just a bit underwhelming. I had to leave the super loud A/C fan on to hide the other noises but of course didn't sleep really well because of it. The hotel is middle of the road. I'd stay there again but only after looking to try something different first. I have no awful complaint but nor was I happy about my stay. I was in Toronto for two nights on business. The wifi worked so that was good. Overall I can say that the room being clean made up for these other issues. When the weather is warm outside, surely the foyer could be cool once you enter the hotel. Having a long checkin line really impacts your first impression though. Who wants to be waiting in a warm checkin line at 8:30pm.
