We recently stayed for the weekend at the Hilton Toronto Downtown while my wife was in the city for hip replacement surgery, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with our experience.
From the moment we arrived on Friday evening, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Carlos Sanchez at the front desk for his warm, professional check-in. Knowing why we were visiting, the team went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even treating us to a complimentary breakfast at the Bistro Restaurant, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.
The accommodations were exactly what we expected—comfortable, clean, and perfect for what we needed during a stressful weekend. The hotel’s downtown location is outstanding, with easy parking nearby and convenient access to everything in the area.
Every member of the staff we encountered, from the doormen and front desk team to the restaurant and bar staff, was friendly, courteous, and eager to help.
The breakfast buffet was exceptional. There was a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, an excellent omelet station, and everything you could want from a premium hotel breakfast.
As a football fan, I also appreciated that the FIFA matches were playing on the large screen in the lobby, which added to the atmosphere during our stay.
I also want to recognize the bartender working on the afternoon of Saturday, July 12. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she was outstanding. Despite being the only bartender serving a busy crowd, she never stopped smiling. She provided friendly conversation, quick service, and made one of the best margaritas I’ve had. Her professionalism and positive attitude made an already good day even better.
We highly recommend the Hilton Toronto Downtown to anyone visiting the city. Thanks to the exceptional hospitality we received, we’ve already decided that when my wife returns for her next hip surgery, this will absolutely be where we stay.
